EAC is what I use. Seems we've had this conversation in several threads over the last year. Back on Topic: I don't normally like flavored coffee, but the gingerbread keurig cups are quite tasty.

Funny, all I'll drink is flavored coffee. It started in '09 with Pumpkin Spice Cappuccino. I didn't drink coffee at all before I tried it but I did after hearing someone talk it up as "Liquid Pumpkin Pie." Sure is, and damn it is delicious. Now I just have to wait another 10 months to have it again.
I tried a cup of normal coffee a month ago just to see if it was that my tastes changed and discovered to the loss of .99, they haven't. Still can't drink the black stuff but French Vanilla or Pumpkin Spice, sure.

Most people who consider themselves coffee drinkers don't drink black coffee. Try just cream and sugar and see what you think.

Yeah, I have and still didn't like it. When I said "Black stuff" I meant traditional grounds & brewing. Perhaps a different cream than half and half but regular coffee has this nasty, bitter and acidic aftertaste that even 2 cream and 3 sugars can't cut. Smells great, tastes terrible.
Perhaps it's just that regular coffee has too much water, leading to the acidic bitterness vs espresso types or I simply didn't dump enough milk into it. If it's the latter, I may as well just stick with cappuccino.

About two years ago I found out about the Monmouth coffee company that does beans from a selection of different growers of varying sizes, roasted fresh in their shop and on a fairly frequent rotation. I drink a lot of black coffee and there's a great variety of flavours and acidity out there. The taste is also greatly affected by how it's brewed, etc. Filter coffee that's been stewing for the best part of the morning usually has all the subtle flavours cooked out of it and it can accentuate acidity. I'll generally happily still drink it black though.

We have a Keurig now too and it is pretty handy. I have one of those reusable filter things for using real coffee grounds rather than the k-cups, which I haven't tried yet, will be a good test. If I can use that thing to make Peet's one cup at a time acceptably I will be pretty happy.

Part of why the Keurig is awesome is I hate coffee. I don't even like coffee ice cream. If there is the tiniest trace of coffee taste in something, I will Reject it. But it makes great tea and hot chocolate (the kinds we've tried so far, anyway). So now Ingmar can drink coffee at home without feeling silly (he wasn't gonna drag out our completely ignored coffee machine for one cup) and I have a quick way to make tasty, tasty chai tea.

Wow, you must be the only other person that hates coffee. I thought I was the only one. I, too, hate coffee! I went about 10 years without touching the stuff, then had some out of desperation the day after I was up way too late working on a programming assignment. It made stacks the most interesting topic on earth! With that kind of power, I tolerate the taste before every lecture!

I can drink a french vanilla cappuccino, but normal coffee requires vast amount of cream and sugar...I think that equates to hating coffee. But I love me some coffee ice cream.

I need the support. All the guys at the office tell me I'll get used to the taste when I get old and grey and need it to stay running. I can't stand the stuff and have never drank it.

Well, I'm a solid member of Team Coffee.
Black, bitter and bold. The occasional latte or mocha is OK to change things up, but nothing to exotic, sweet or fruity (that and whipped cream destroys my innards). Usually it's large themal cup (holds about 4 cups worth) of whatever ground Starbucks variety I have on hand for the commute into work. I'd like to visit the farmer's market and get something a bit more exotic, but we haven't been in a while. That and my wife is a wimp now about her coffee and likes to stick to safe, mediums blends.
But I'm not picky. We used to get free coffee at work (until they got rid of all snack/beverage perks), and I'd drink that battery acid.

I love coffee, but black or a bit of cream is best. No sugar, ugh. I have a drip coffee maker for large quantities, but the keurig is amazing for one cup late night.
I've got a friend who's WAY into roasting his own coffee, so I get care packages from him of good stuff. And he's at the AZ show with me starting in a couple weeks, so I'll snag a pound of something good for you, Rasix. Tanzanian peaberry, or a good moka.

This, so much. Except for the coffee flavored foods.. I LOVE coffee ice cream and I think walking down an aisle with coffee beans in it smells nice (usually), but the second you brew the coffee, the smell turns my stomach. I kind of hate walking into the break room at work first thing in the morning when the dept. admin is making the various coffees for the day, yuck. The husband wants to get a Keurig machine and he's been using the existence of tea cups for leverage. I'm not convinced that we need a one cup brewer of anything, since when I drink tea, I use this huge mug that holds about 4 cops alone, so using a coffee maker works for me. Eh, I'll probably break down sooner or later and let him get one.

Yeah, not a fan of coffee, especially flavoured stuff... I can drink 5 or 6 cans of soda (used to do this during lan parties in highschool ), but if I drink one cup of flavoured coffee, I get all shaky. Doesn't happen when I've tried it at home with or without sugar and milk. Also, the taste is pretty nasty.

Around here, Racetrack and 7-11 both still have pumpkin spice in their pushbutton cappuccino machines - I'm they keep it around all the time, as it seems like a good seller. Also, paying $0.88 for a large pumpkin spice is fucking awesome. 7-11 even has cinnamon you can put in it, which is essentially cranking pumpkin spice up to 11.

This is an odd region of the country, the closest 7-11's are in Indianapolis and Columbus. I know because I've looked them up every free slurpee day for the last 3 years. We also have a dearth of Pizza Huts, Sonic and other more national restaurants. Cincinnati is very localized with their brands.

I could never stand the taste of coffee, but I used to love the smell of it.
Then at the last place I worked, I spent a year in the same office as the two 10-gallon coffee pots. Someone would come in at 6am, fire them up, and leave them on ALL DAY. By noon or so the entire office reeked of burnt coffee, and after a few weeks of that I couldn't stand it any more due to the indigestion it caused. To this day, I generally hold my breath if I'm walking down the coffee aisle at the grocery store, and have a reed incense thing in my office at work to cancel out the smell of the coffee pot in the main admin area next to me.
I used to be a serial caffeinated soda drinker, but nowadays one at the start of the day generally gets me through.

It's an accepted fact in my office that a long line at Tim Horton's in the morning is a legit reason for being late.
Large Timmie's on the way in - one cream no sugar. A cup or two of whatever we brew in the coffee pot the next cubicle over (office machines make shit coffee). Weekends are usually started with a double espresso out of my home machine, a decent Krupps.
Been drinking coffee for about 25 years and I've never intentionally put sugar in it once.

We have an automatic machine here that takes beans and spits out coffee. It's supposed to be quite good but I can't stand coffee. I do chain drink tea though. I have a glass pot on my desk which has some very nice Doomur Dullung TGFOP in it at the moment.

I was never a huge coffee person. I would drink it in stints occasionally, but I usually got my caffeine from sodas as I am in general not a fan of hot beverages (even when it is cold out).
I have not had caffeine in more than 2 years now though, so I can't even really remember what coffee tastes like.

I will under NO circumstances drink coffee (which, living in the Pacific Northwest, seems to be a form of heresy). I can't stand it. I also won't drink tea or even hot chocolate, but that's because I hate hot drinks in general--coffee just has the added bonus of tasting awful.
Diet Coke is my choice of caffeine delivery system. Sometimes with Bushmill's added, depending on how much of a dick the boss is being.

I'm honestly shocked at the number of people that don't like coffee. When you're in the medical field it's like crack.
I have also given up all caffeine. I never thought I would be able to do it, but I pulled it off. Now I don't even need it early in the morning to get going. It was quite a liberating experience.

I know many MD's that don't drink coffee. Most prefer Tea or Diet Coke... or feign ADD for amphetamines!

I used to drink a ton of coffee when I was working gypsy jobs. Blue collar survives on coffee. Anyway, I used to be a big fan of coffee, two cream, two sugars. Recently I started having a cup now and again, and it was WAY too sweet. So I dropped to one sugar. Tasted better. So then I dropped the sugar, and it's perfect. I need at least one cream (milk, whatever), and more doesn't hurt it, but I usually stick with one cream.
The two guys I played my last AD&D campaign; one drank it black and the other drank it half cream and several tablespoons of sugar (per cup, there would be an inch of sugar at the bottom of his cup when he was done). I had to be VERY CAREFUL to pick up the correct cup.

I've gotten spoiled now with my coffee. Four blocks down the road from me is a shop that roasts its own beans daily. *sigh* I usually stick with a nice roast of Mexian Chiapas, Guatamalan Antiguan or a Costa Rican Tarrazu. Black of course.
I've made a pretty strong effort to cut down my caffeine/coffee intake over the years, so I try to limit myself to about 16-20oz in the morning and then switch over to tea for the rest of the day. For tea, I usually stick with Irish Breakfast with a little milk and sugar.
I've tried to be fancier with my tea choices and spent a few months drinking my way through Adagio's catalog. A lot of very nice stuff there, but I think I just like a good Irish Breakfast blend as my tea of choice.
