82.  97 by Sunday.   swamp poop

And wind is bad enough today that clouds of dust are obscuring the mountain views.  My allergies are trying to murder me.

It's already 90 here. And we'll be in Orange County this weekend, YAY.

I think I have skittles in my mouth.  It burns and itches and there's little tiny blisters.  Not skittles, the other one.  Not scurvy.  You know what I mean.  My sister had it but it was near her eye.  It was horrible.

EDIT!!  I don't have skittles.  Evidently, the granola I ate this morning had chopped Brazil nuts in it and I'm allergic.  I don't know why I even tell this sort of stuff to you lot.  I think it's because I don't have friends who actually exist.

You have nut allergies? That has to be the worst with today's nut-obsessed America.

Weird, when I lived in Arizona I never once had an allergy flare up because the only allergen in Phoenix is an overabundance of douche.

So, I think I understand the problem. Rasix is allergic to douche.

Not all nuts.  Brazil nuts and it's a contact allergy.  No swelling or dying or anything.  Same with cocoa as in dark chocolate, etc. and raw coconut.  And mango skins.  Potato peels.  No allergy to pistachios and that's what really matters to me.  And oranges.

The Painted Desert is in Arizona.  It's awesome.  Also, northern Arizona is wonderful.  And there is a forest filled with petrified things!  People only remember the cool stuff in Arizona when they don't die of heat stroke.

I like the high speed limits on the highways in AZ - the Tuscon airport rental place inexplicably gave me a Mustang when I was last there, which just made things better.

Software Deploys in an environment not properly set up to use the tools you have for it.. what a JOY.

Made better by users who don't know what "leave your systems on" means.  I begin to see why people do deploys "at boot up" and say "I don't care that the user has to sit around waiting for the install 30 mins."

Brought to you by alcohol and a Friday Night AutoCAD deployment.

What bike did you settle on?

A Schwinn Sierra IG3 Deluxe, which would not have been my original choice, but it hit a lot of my desired features at a decent price ($199 - down from $349 from BikeIsland, with the only defect a scuff on the top tube that buffed right out).  Added a rear carrier and a Wald basket and it's become a great little errand runner.

Regardless of the tools, deploying Autodesk software is a pain.

If Dell could stop breaking WoL in their BIOS releases it would be great too. 2/3rds of the BIOS revisions for Optiplex 7010s since 2012 have broken WoL.  why so serious?

Sweet, enjoy it! I'm vowing to ride a lot more this year and stop with the excuses to myself why I shouldn't hop on the bike.

Unrelated, 6' finish mower rips through the grass and the old tractor has an easier time with it than the brush hog. While I still love seat time, I don't mind shaving time off the chores wherever I can.

Greeks are free from coffee addiction, drinking it only rarely. They don't meet up with friends much either. Nor do they hold much confidence in the country's economy or trust in the police. Plus they're not very optimistic about the future.

Using tablets is a pretty new thing for the Greeks. The same could be said for physical exercise – you won't find many Greeks popping out for a jog.

The Brits are in touch with the times – being the EU's biggest tablet users.

"Moderation in all things" could well be their motto otherwise, though – when it comes to eating meat, doing physical exercise and confidence in the future, the Brits are at the EU average. Religious events are not their cup of tea – and nor, it seems, is coffee: the Brits consume pretty small amounts of the stuff every year.

I do not disagree but am also not the guy in charge of the dept.  I work with what I've got and know.  My problem is I don't know KACE and the autocad deploy requires a new net mapping because it's 6gb and you just can't upload that to some machines.

I also lament our lack of reboot policy but that's another issue.

Chimpy;   Actually building the deploy was a breeze.  Having been a user for 20 years helps tons, plus they really kicked the packager up a notch for 2014 onwards from what I read.  Once I knew what environ variables and files I wanted to include it was a snap.

The actual problem was entirely related to deploying to the user machines remotely.  I had to resort to going to each individual machine, navigating to the server share manually and then running the link. It was smooth after that.  If you call being up until 4am the. Back at it from 11 to 5 the next day smooth.

Ed: oh. I also moved into my new house this weekend which has made thi SUPER FUN.   Or rather my wife moved us as I was at the office for 20 hours of the last 48.
