For a cheap tablet, how about the Kindle Fire? I know it has a limited store compared to straight android, but the 7" HD is on sale for 159 which is pretty damned cheap.

Christian Louboutin!

Even typing that cost me a fortune.

Even if I had a spare $800 or so, I wouldn't buy these even though I love them almost as much as I love my cats and nephews.  Almost.  Spending that much money on nearly anything is obscene.  I just admire the posh from very very VERY afar (they smell funny) and judge people who walk around in them.

Is that shoe adorned with burlap? Or is that wicker?

Has Will Wright done terrible stuff with scam Kickstarters when he can afford to make any game he wants with his own money?  I thought that after his first real flop Spore he had had the grace to go away somewhere and be quiet.

I think it's jute.

Is it Marek Reichman?  Cause I like wearing my posh shoes in a fancy car that I also can't afford and wouldn't buy if I could.  This is the best game ever.

Samsung galaxy 10 has surprisingly good sound.  Any suggestions on cheap tablets for early teens?  Holy random post!

If it were me I would go for a 2nd gen Nexus 7.

5 points to Gryffindor. I would have accepted either David Butler (EQ Next) or Brad McQuaid (EQ... somehow) as an answer.

So, fiance and I are moving into a new apartment in October and need to either rent or buy a washer/drier. Anyone work anywhere that gets decent discounts? All the rental places have total crap for washers/driers and it's kind of upsetting.

I was hoping we had a teenager here whose job was to make sure he abused a Best Buy discount or something. Maybe I'll get a seasonal hour position there in October and immediately quit after day 1. I worked there for 5 years. They'll employ me again.

I replaced mine with the tried and true method of "Oh, you'll give me a year no interest? Score. i'll have it paid off in six months" method.

Home Depot and Lowes send me coupons for that all the time. I can make 2k in six months, 2k right now hurts.

Take that and just wait for a sale and you're pretty good.

At what age do you stop getting zits, because apparently it's older than 37.

B&N Nook HD or HD+.  Still a bit of a walled garden, but they've opened the entire Google Play store up to be chosen from, no more "special" Nook-only apps.  Bastards haven't opened the Play store for the older Tablet though.

Apparently, if you still get them beyond the hormone out of control age, it's dietary.  There's an entire Chinese "Science" that can determine what your body has in abundance/lacks/shouldn't have in it based on what kind of zits you have and where.  Yes, zits have kinds.

On the plus side, people will always under guess your age when you have 'em, though!

Yeah, I was going to pop-in and say when I get one it's totally related to my diet/ health.  When I'm working long hours and eating shit because I can't eat unprocessed sugar-laden food, *bam* 2-3 across my nose/ forehead.  Same if I haven't washed my face/ showered over the weekend.

I don't think anyone would argue zits don't have a type.  Whiteheads, blackheads, little tiny 'water bumps'

There's no problem with that at all.   Rock Out

My commute is probably the length of one of their albums though, although it's gotten longer in the mornings now that school's back in session.  Going to take a month for this to settle down and not keep adding an extra 20-30 minutes to the drive.
