MacOS is a game. Windows is serious business.

If you're using Microsoft Publisher, you've got worse issues than security to worry about.

patch before your computer becomes a zombie! they're going to take over the wooorrlld!
There was a really fucking depressing article in popular science about botnets, I was kind of annoyed because they left out a major part of the problem - microsoft. The word "microsoft" wasn't even mentioned at all in the article, though "windows" and "windows xp" and "internet exporer" were mentioned numerous times. They misidentified the problem, and their solution wasn't to switch or even evaluate a new operating system or web brwoser, you know, one that won't bend over and display a hole bigger than goatse to the world, their solution was "buy a firewall and buy a virus scanner!". Bunch of idiots. It sort of makes you wonder, since magazines and mainstream media seem to get things not just blatantly but spectacularly wrong, if they are equally wrong on other things. You know, things that I'm reading that very magazine to inform me of.

2/10 WOULD NOT INGEST

I have been afraid to update my machine because I am afeared that my, uh, special version of WinXP might stop working. I might just be paranoid.

Why am I homeless? Why do all you motherfuckers need homes is the real question. They called it The Prayer, its answer was law Mommy come back 'cause the water's all gone

Google is your friend. Google and other "tools" are why I have a functioning rig, with SP2 and what not. I could hack through it, but I just don't want to. I really should have written a procedure document for myself. How dorky is that? ;-)
