This week (Wednesday through Friday) we will be running server stress tests and we need your help! Log in and play LOTRO between 7pm and 9pm Eastern on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of this week for your chance to win a $200 Best Buy gift certificate, a $50 Best Buy gift certificate, and many other cool in-game surprises!
Players who participate in all three events will be eligible for a grand prize – a signed copy of LOTRO and a free six month subscription!
Event schedule:
- Wednesday, August 23rd, from 7pm until 9pm EDT Turbine admins will be in game selecting players as winners. One player will win a $200 gift certificate, one player will win a $50 gift certificate, and many players will win in-game silver!
- Thursday, August 24th, from 7pm until 9pm EDT Turbine admins will be in game selecting players as winners. One player will win a $200 gift certificate, one player will win a $50 gift certificate, and many players will win in-game silver!
- Friday, August 25th, from 7pm until 9pm EDT Turbine admins will be in game selecting players as winners. One player will win a $200 gift certificate, one player will win a $50 gift certificate, and many players will win in-game silver!
All players who log in and play between 7pm and 9pm EDT will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a $200 gift certificate or $50 gift certificate!
Players who log in and play all three days from 7pm to 9pm EDT will be entered into a drawing to win a signed copy of LOTRO and a free six month subscription! One Grand Prize
Winner will be randomly chosen from all players who log in to all three events (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday) between 7pm and 9pm and will receive:
·Signed copy of LOTRO (approx. retail value: $60.00)
·Free six month subscription (approx. retail value: $90.00)
Three First Prizes
One winner from each day (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) will be randomly chosen from all players who register during the two hour window, and each will receive:
·$200 Best Buy gift certificate (approx. retail value: $200.00)
Three Second Prizes
One winner from each day (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) will be randomly chosen from all players who register during the two hour window, and each will receive:
·$50 Best Buy gift certificate (approx. retail value: $50.00)
Winners will be contacted in-game during the event and via e-mail by August 31, 2006.
Be sure to stay in game the entire time between 7pm and 9pm EDT on these nights to have a chance to win! The longer you are logged in and the more nights you participate, the better your chances!
Please remember that the LOTRO Alpha and the Beta Program are STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL. Once you have accepted the Preview and Non-Disclosure Agreement, you are not allowed to divulge any information about your experiences to anyone without Turbine's express written consent.

Eligibility to win a prize is restricted to U.S. residents age 18 or older. Employees of Turbine and its licensors, and members of their households, are excluded from participation. Winners may need to execute an affidavit to confirm all eligibility requirements are met. The odds of winning a prize in the Stress Test drawing will depend on the number of eligible participants.
Neither Turbine nor its licensors shall be liable for any damages of any kind or nature whatsoever arising in connection with the Stress Test.
