Northwest Airlines cares about it's future ex-employees

Apologies if this has been posted already, but I thought it was amazing.

I guess Northwest distributed flyers to it's employees on "how to save money" to help brace employees for the shock of their new, smaller paychecks.

In one section, called "Preparing for a Financial Setback," Northwest suggests that workers can take "a date for a walk along the beach or in the woods." It also says they should not be "shy about pulling something you like out of the trash."

I'm trying to wrap my head around the meetings/processes that resulted in those being printed up.  I'd have paid good money just to watch/listen.  Unreal.
