I had to come to an unbiased site that doesn't give a shit about Dave Matthews I would have assumed you came to the right place, but a 2 page thread tells me a different story. When he first came out, he had a somewhat fresh, funky sound, different than the rest of carbon copy pop music. The problem is that he has since continued to make the same song over and over, becoming the personification of irony.
