Closed beta signups for the Warhammer 40k Dawn of War RTS game. Unfortunately, it's through Vileplanet, but hey, I'll give them marketing info for a peek at this baby early.

/drool I am a big 40k fan and that game looks freaking sweet.  I hope it does good enough to get more expansions/sequals with some of the other races. I would really like to see tyranids in a game like that where the big guy seem to be modeled very well.

I am timing out now, but I will get through eventually.  I wasn't sure if I wanted to sign up for it, as betas can sometimes ruin the final impression of the full game, but I figure it is better to make the decision to test when I get in than not sign up and wish I had.  I am weak and will surely test though.

Yeah, and expansion with Tyrannids and Imperium would be great.  I would love to see an imperial assassin go toe to toe with a carnifex in that graphics engine.  Although assassin would be hard to effectively use in realtime.  I hope you can issue commands while paused.
