June's Newsletter is here.Mythic (EA Mythic = EVIL) have updated their new Warhammer Herald with a Scavenger Hunt competition. Today, all around the internet community for WAR, screenshots have been popping up like mushrooms after a summer rainstorm. Assuming all the webmasters read their email correctly, they posted these screenshots along with a note to check your WAR Herald, and here you are.
You have until Wednesday, July 5th at noon EDT to email me a complete link list of all the screenshots. The person who finds the most wins a beta account for himself (or herself) and a friend.
Sanya AT mythicentertainment DOT com is the address, and in order for your entry to be eligible, you must use the subject line SCAVENGER.
More rules and other stuff:
Should there be a tie, the tie will be broken by the timestamp on the email.
Webmasters, reporters, and board moderators for the participating websites are not eligible to win this particular contest, mainly because you greedy geese were going to get in as media ANYWAY, so don't be cranky.
If you were not invited to participate, please feel free to send me an email with "But I'm Media TOO" as the subject line so I can be sure to include you next time.
I'll post the full list on Thursday, July 6th for everyone's enjoyment.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are a webmaster, and you were considering reposting screenshots, please think again. I have an exact record of what sites got what screenshots. I will not be counting your site's link towards the player's score, so you're only hurting the players by reposting someone else's content as your own. There will be other contests in the future, and there's a lot of time between now and launch!

Sanya certainly is a survivor
I wonder if one of the reasons is that Mythic never had official forums. I imagine she still gets a lot of mail though.

I always admired Mythic for not having official boards. The policy seems to have served them pretty well.

The game is looking really good. I hope they get some more models polished soon, dwarves and greenskins are starting to get a little boring!
The giants look really cool though. That's sure to bring back nostalgia of running through west commons, hoping to make it to the zone line before he swings!

They look good, but OTOH, it also looks like they have only about 5 models so far and have just posed them out front of a bunch of different backgrounds in the exact same idle pose..
