I think it's interesting as an extension of the blogist egocentric mentality - "Talk about my content... in real time!".  The guy who wrote it will get bought by Yahoo! for 10 million dollars.

Okay that thing worries me, especially when there's 75K worth of semi-obfuscated JavaScript and IFRAME's involved. I would be very paranoid about that thing stealing cookies.
