Yes, I realize ever since I got a DS Lite I've been a huge Nintendoho. I consider my entire gaming career post-SNES to pre-DS to be a trail of tears. Indeed, in this revisionist history, Ken Kutaragi is my own modern day Martin Van Buren.

Ok, stretch that out over a few months and it'll drop like a rock. People's buying habits are a little more ADD than they were say 20 years ago.

Because the DS desperately needed a platformer that could be 100%ed by a 4 year old in 6 hours?

Oh, you were making a funneh rhetorical.

A quick scan of the games news sites tells me that you're not trying hard enough. You could easily get another half dozen DS threads started from the yawnworthy DS news of the last couple of days alone.

I don't think it's that easy.  It's hard for me to get all the coins.

Still shouldn't take more than 6 hours. maybe 5-10 of the coins are actually a chore to get.

I'm on world... who the fuck cares, I'm allready bored.
But the Lite is designed nice. Now it's a cool gadget and not a plastic brick that needs to be carried in a Lego/Transformers school bag...

So, we've established it's short, yet I have yet to beat a Mario game since I reached the age of 15 or so. If I beat this, how's the replay value? ( Hint: I love playing SMB when drunk )

Wiiiiii!

Replay value on a Mario game? IMO the only ones with real replay value were 1 and 3.
