I just figured since there wasn't that much going on today that I'd like to do a little linking to sites that you use to goof off when you have nothing to do. Here are a few of my favorites:

Neopets - Cutesy little site with a lot of fun games that revolve around building up virtual pets with points

Askmen - Like Maxim but free and updated daily

The Kingdom of Loathing - Mocking Free Adventure RPG with some MMO type stuff, pretty fun

And then of course Corpnews and this site. Feel free to post your own so we can all enjoy them in our procrastination.

Bowmen

Simplistic, but strangely addictive.

I also saw a game one time that involved throwing paper into a trashcan, with a rotating fan to cause difficulties...anyone else ever seen it? Linkage?

Can some one post a link for the Penguine Baseball?

I like that better than the Bowman.

This sucks.  Paelos forced me to become addicted to that stupid Kingdom of Loathing.  Now I am all out of adventures.  I am so frustrated I've begun drinking.  Cheers.  Thanks a lot.

Is it just me, or does the hallusinogenic [sic] theme music totally sell that Panda Golf game?   I was lucky to get out at level 10 because it's bed time.

What?  Me contribute something meaningful to the thread?  Okay, hmm, how about this:

One can only hope everybody's aware of Homestar Runner by now.   I know my brother even owns a Trogdor T-Shirt.   Quite possibly the best use for Flash ever.

Well, there are 102 official levels. I didn't have any problem with the music cause I had it turned off.

Now I can get back to my life.

Agreed.  Except perhaps that one if you've played the game.   That's probably the only one in which I get the joke.

It looks as though Panda Golf has 103 levels. The last 5 are easy, but level 97 is freaking hard. Mostly due to trial and error. Anyway, was fun to play through. The guest levels suck ass though.

Pretty gross, but the mines do make it fun. I got 714 on two direct hard mine bounces.

Took me about a dozen shots, but I got 946.3, probably about 10 mines.

Bring the noise.

Yes my latest attempts have netted me a high a 978, but i think 1000 is doable if I'd hit another mine on the fourth big bounce.

When I was attending a conference at another library, I noticed a kid playing this game. I was trying to pay attention to the lecturer, but it looked like he got ganked and then went mining. Not sure if anyone had seen it or not, and I haven't looked into it, because I'm all lazy like that. Fwiw, anyway.

Too bad they can't incorporate this type of mini-game into SWG or WoW. It would make things so much more interesting after drinking in those games.
