Can a few people give me their advice,(Share the knowledge, damnit) on "Blogcritics.org" in reference to how that fit into the MMO scene?.  They have a gaming area, just wanted to know if any of you associate that website with MMO insight?

Ah, thinly disguised market research, digging for a lack of brand recognition. Looking to prove to them they need your MMOG blog?

Anyway, no. It's an aggregator with no content of its own, like Yahoo News. I don't use that either - I go to individual news sources and like-minded bloggers. That said, I admire the thinking behind the site: take a specific subject (reviews), set up your site to aggregate reviews from blogs for free, surround it with ads, wallow in gratitude from the bloggers whose work is getting exposure, laugh quietly because the truth is you are the one benefiting from the traffic, sit back, count the uniques, count the page impressions, raise the CPM, profit.

I never understand why she was called "Mr." in ST2. Was it some military thing? I don't remember women officers being called "Mr" in the shows, but then, I don't remember what I had for breakfast (did I even eat?)

Kirstie Alley was Fine in that film.

I would have endorsed Mr Saavik getting her norks out.  Even wearing her hair down was good enough for me.

No, seriously, like Predator, I can, in fact, quote the entire film word for word and, since my deafness arrived, take great pleasure at throwing things at the screen when the subtitle people get it wrong.

Looks like a cheap knock-off site.  The formatting and general lack of organization had me leaving almost as soon as I had arrived.  As for the title of the site, having a blog does not make one a writer or better yet, a critic.  If you're looking for opinions, I've never heard of the site until this morning.  I can honestly say that not knowing about it was no great loss.

Not trying to be negative, just honest.

Ironwood's deaf? That's the 3rd new thing I learned today, so it must be time to go home.

Star Wars, & Empire.  After that it's just a random mish-mash.  I don't internalize movies, it would seem.

My movie is, or maybe was, The Blues Brothers.  I might not be able to recite the whole movie just anywhere, however I can be quite annoying during a screening.

Raising Arizona
The Princess Bride
The Blues Brothers
The Big Lebowski
Rounders
Big Trouble In Little China
Mallrats
BlackAdder I-IV

I am sure there are dozens of others (inlcuding the rest of Kevin Smith's work, save Jersey Girl). I have a nasty habit of memorizing lines, or full scenes, or full movies. The good news is I usually get the lines right- nothing bugs me more than someone who constantly quotes lines incorrectly (and then refuses to believe they are wrong).

Mallrats, Office Space and Way of the Gun here, shit for the life of me I can't remember what the original topic was.

Signe's breasts?

A nation consists of its laws. A nation does not consist of its situation at a given time. If an individual's morals are situational, then that individual is without morals. If a nation's laws are situational, that nation has no laws, and soon isn't a nation.

Ok, clearing this one up because it's obviously going to be a joke that'll run and run.  3 Years ago, starting losing hearing.  Last year was diagnosed with High Frequency hearing loss, which means sitting in a room together, we can have a great conversation (Unless you're Broughden, in which case I'm probably stabbing you).  However, once background noise of any kind gets introduced, it gets hazy.  Think of Grissom in the 4th season.  Got it ?

So, I go to the hearing clinic (a private one because the NHS are like shit and would have you wear something akin to a Cyberman) and drop 3.5k on total in channel digital hearing aids.  Yeah, that's right, because as I may already have mentioned, I'm rich as fuck.  Now I hear perfectly fine and no-one can tell unless they're actively looking down my fucking lughole.  However, when I'm in the house relaxing or, drumroll, watching Star Trek 2, I will sit with the words on and rest my fucking ears which, due to old age, are failing me at the ripe and tender of 31.

Meantime, I make one offhand comment about this on a random thread and ALLLLL the little fuckholes come out to play, each bearing their own little nugget of humour.  Which they found in their butt.

You know, buttnuggets of humour.

In conclusion, fuck all y'all.

:)
