Since soloing with Seismic is pretty much impossible, and because I still like to play after studying all day, I whipped up a blaster alt.

So enter The Panther Inferno.  Right now he's sitting at lv 12, with both of his contacts in Steel Canyon maxed out.  Haven't touched the Skyway City guys yet, but I'm really hoping to snag all possible souveniers.

So....does anyone still have characters in the lv 10-15 range that they'd be willing to take on the Positron TF?  I have a 6 day week starting tomorrow, so I'm hoping to do it tonight.  Otherwise, I'll have to play my scrapper a bit as well so that I don't get the blaster over lv 15.

So either tonight or next Sunday would be cool for the positron thing.  I may just try to grab a pickup group tonight and do it, because I'm still a bit bitter about how we got hosed by the bug way back when, and I really want to see the end.

Well, I have a Gravity/kenetics controller by the name of Anutie Gravety sitting at 10 right now.  A tiny bit too low to be attempting Positron.  However, if i power level her a bit, i should be able to hit 13 or 14 by wednesday when i get my next day off.

14, I think, is pretty much a must, as I wouldnt want to try a TF without a travel power, and both Grav and Kenetics require you to hit your opponent to be of any use at all.

Qua Fin Ti is at 15th level right now (scrapper) and I'd love to run this TF again now that it works. I saw this topic too late today (looks like it didn't get off the ground anyway) but I'd be happy to try it next weekend some time. I've got alts to run in the mean time.

THEN DO NOT LEVEL HIM FURTHER.

I am pretty sure positron will accept level 16 people in the TF.  All the other TF's i tried accepted 1 higher then the origionlly believed level cap.

Bastion wil accept level 31 at start and Sister Psyche will accept 26.

If such was the case, then i would gladly hop on bandwagon to be sidekicked under the Scrapper

I have a level 9 tanker that I'm sure I can get to 10 or 11 fairly easily, if you haven't already done the TF.

Did it last night and am now halfway to 14.  Thing is that I won't have much playtime till next Sunday as my 6 day week just started.  But I'd be up to do this one again on Sunday if people want to try and make an early start of it.  The SO I got was an end reducer, and I'm going for mainly damage on this toon, so I'm still undecided as to whether I'm slotting it or selling it.

We did it with a 16 scrapper in party and that seemed to work just fine.

The only problem with a lv 16 is that the mobs start out at about lv 16 and scale up to 17.  Of course, that may be cause our 16 hit 17 during the TF.

I must also say that force field defenders are ridiculously awesome for this kind of mission.  Very few deaths for the party with the FF defender and an emp defender.

I'd be up for it next Sunday if we start at a fairly decent time of day (I'm on EST). I've got a 14 Controller (Ill/Storm). I could possibly use my Elec/Elec Blaster who's 8 right now, but will probably also be 14 by then.

Would Sunday at noon EST work for those who want to run Positron?

If Panther Inferno is too high by then, I can easily get my scrapper up to speed.  Odds are he WON'T be too high, but you never know if I'll decide to shirk a bit this week.

So for me that'd be either a fire/energy blaster or a dark/regen scrapper.

Hmm, I could use my rad/rad defender, he's lvl 10. Might want to pump him up a bit so his debuffs are a bit more effective. There's also the fact that the only other TF I did was with Cosmic (my main) who was at the minimum lvl for the 17-21 guy, so I'd like to get my boy to a level where half the TF isn't purple :)

Just don't expect a whole lot from his heals, at this low level he's mostly set up as a soloer, all slots have gone to his beam attacks so far (which are fast as balls, so to speak).

Actually, rad/rad is a great combo, once I get his buff and especially the debuffs slotted up. Buff takes too long to recharge, and debuffs can always be more effective.

If we have too many defender/blaster types, I might have a tank alt high enough by then if I take a couple evenings off Thief3.

I could possibly make it with Enron Executive (energy/energy blaster). I've also got a spines/invul scrapper (Stonefish) but he's only level 4.

That works for me. Put me down for my Controller.

Just making sure y'all still want to tackle the positron mission this Sunday.

So are we still at "game on" status?

I'm still interested and have cleared the time for it. Sunday, Noon EST. Will be bringing Quidam - 15 Illusion/Storm Controller.

Edit: Gained level 15. Parked at Positron and ready to do the TF.

I'm still up for it as well. Qua Fin Ti, lvl 15 katana/regen scrapper. Should be fun, a controller will help a lot. Any Defenders?

I'm still on board, played my defender a little while I was home vomiting the past few days. Now he's 13th level, iirc: Moleculator rad/rad defender.

For what it's worth, I hope that was because you had WAY too much fun one night and not because you were sick, man.

If this is still on, my 14 grav/ff  controller is now sitting at Positron. Name is Scarlet Wells. She could use an sg invite too.
