No, you're not wrong.
The actual mechanics of fighting will make or break this game all on their own.
If it's anything like Armored Core, I can definately see this being enjoyable. Less twitch = less fun in this case.

Exteel is pretty awesome. I need to play it more. I'll have this whole NCSoft THING written up eventually.

It has collision detection then? The pictures of Exteel remind me somewhat of Slave Zero, which I rather enjoyed. Even though this will be PvP I may have to give it a chance. |

After watching the trailer a couple of times, Exteel reminds me of Shogo, but on our generation of hardware/tech etc.

It reminds me of Virtual On, a Sega arcade game that kicked quite a bit of ass when I played it years ago.

It reminds me of Virtual On, a Sega arcade game that kicked quite a bit of ass when I played it years ago.
STRAZOS GET OUT OF MY MIND. When I was posting earlier I was wracking my brain trying to recall this stand-up game I used to play with my best friend for hours on end at the local water slide (lol). Virtual On! |

Tabula Rasa has collision detection. Like I said, It's Star Wars: Galaxies NGE - done right.

Virtua On. Not virtual. Like Virtua Racing, Virtrua fighter, etc. "Virtua" and "Virtual" and VERY DIFFERENT. COMPLETELY, TOTALLY DIFFERENT!!!  Anyway this game does look cool, it has style and I'm a sucker for giant robots. |
