Dragon Empires must have really been bad if Codemasters canned it and green lighted this.

Signed up anyways.

I signed up in futile hopes of finding good PvP in that game. My guild need need new game badly, we started talking about starting up our UO server again. BACK TO THE GRAVE, BACK, BACK!

Its too late in the cycle to get into it as a guild and most of us are not (me excluded) big sci-fi fans. Still I think I will bring it up again.

I don't like Eve.  I tried it but it was very, very boring.  When I get very, very bored, my teeth itch and my hair hurts.

You know, I really liked hearing people talk about the stuff and all the happenings a lot more than the actual game. I'm with feet, the game was boring to me. If you can't hook me in 2 weeks of near constant playing, you don't get mah cash. I'm still lurking becuase I find the intrigue and political pvp happenings interesting.

From the FAQ:

Quote
Humans are able to play as Mages, Knights and Rangers.

Orcs can play as Shamans, Beserkers and Hunters

Moonelves can play as Elementalists and Spiritualists (though this class is also known as Rangers)

*Bangs head on desk*

Dev1:  We have three races and eight classes.  Race determines class availability.
Dev2:  Too simple.  Make sure there are two names for one of the classes, and one of the names is the same as another class that is available only to some other race.
Dev1:  Wait, what?
Dev2:  Exactly.

Eve needs twitch combat badly, at least for the smaller ships like frigates, etc.  There's also the problem that empty space is empty space, no matter what nice color nebula the system you're flying through is.  And having to make 17 jumps to get that piece of gear you just bought...  Your ship stuck on auto-pilot for 40 minutes while you sit there with your dick in your hand isn't fun.

It's too bad, really, because that game has so much going for it, but the parts I hate, I really hate.

It helps to have a laptop handy with the entire series run of Farscape on DVD.  Just so you can watch and bitch in f13 chat about how horrible the first part of season 2 is.

EVE really bothered me when it first came out and when I tried it a while ago.  For some reason that tedius parts just don't bother me anymore.  Being in a good corp helps.

I assume it has something to do with thier bunny ears and stockings, as per the screenshots.

Plus, if you gank Jesus, thats pretty serious.

The only way to gank Jesus is either to feed him lots of wine, or take him out into the desert for 40 days.
