In case you got a used or second hand computer and aren't sure if the license is legit?

They are pushing it fairly hard, for example tried to sneak it into my custom update without me selecting it. I have legit copy of XP yet they tried to con me into d/ling.  If this gets any worse I will have to buy a MAC or run *shudder* Linux.
