I started playing this thing last week.  I'm annoyed that half the puzzles require you to go to the official movie web site and/or watch the trailer for "clues".  Supposedly it's going to ramp up in difficulty.

I want nothing to do with that movie.  I just can't channel enough rage to express my hate for that book. huh

Shame too since I generally like Ron Howard and Tom Hanks.

Ya know, the book was pretty much just a script for a decent summer blockbuster. All the popularity it gained was due to the fact people were reading a movie and were too stupid to notice. I have complete and total faith in the movie being 900x better than the book.

Writers of his ilk translate pretty well into movies.  When you write the same book every time (see Cussler, Grishman, etc) and it's based off being an enjoyable, easy to understand, fast-paced, easy read: it's not hard to convert that into a marketable movie.

I'm always amazed Patterson's shlock didn't spawn more movies. I guess they could only talk Morgan Freeman into doing Alex Cross so many times.
