There was going to be this whole article about Zone of the Enders 1 & 2 here and how they're better than Metal Gear Solid and how ZOE deserved more recognition than that overhyped dialogue driven piece of shit stealth series, but I'm just not feeling it. I don't want to write more about Kojima since I did that MGS3:Subsistence thing. To say the least, for a gamer who plays games for fun, ZOE is simply the better series.

So, as an apology, I've got a handful of codes for the horse armor in Oblivion. I'm going to lock this thread on monday night, but everyone who gets into it before then and posts about wanting the horse armor, will get their name in a hat. No, I'm not going to play favorites. Even if you don't want the armor and own Oblivion (the PC edition only), post anyway. This is about making something free that should have been free to begin with. Not about the fun of fucking armor for your horse.

I don't want the horse armour, but I wouldn't mind the hat after you're done with whatever it is you're doing.

I wasn't going to buy it, I'll buy content but not in bits and pieces, but if it's free I'll take it.

Horse and Pepper Pie

1 pound ground horse meat
2 cups sweet red peppers, with sauce
1 onion, chopped
1 (4.5 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch double crust pie

Place peppers, including liquid, into food processor; pulse until
peppers are cut into small pieces.

Brown horse meat and onions. Add peppers, mushrooms, and cheese to
meat mixture. Spoon into bottom crust. Cover with top crust, and
seal the edges.

Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) until crust is brown, and
pie is heated through.

Serves 8

I want the armor, and should get it because I used the American spelling.  I also want coconut armor if you are unwilling to dish on the horsey armor.

I already said I didn't want it so there was no need to mock my dodgy spelling!  Sheesh....

Me too! Since you can't fight on the f'in horse, at the very least the damned animal can do his share of work when I dismount to fight the bandits.

I should get back to nature, too.  You know, like going to a shop for groceries instead of the computer.  Maybe a condo in the woods that doesn't even have a health club or restaurant attached.  Buy a car with only two cup holders or something. -Signe

Why the fuck not, eh?

I'll likely be getting the game as soon as I finish all my workload and can trust myself to have a new RPG.

There was a file linked from the oblivion forums called SetsunaHorseArmorMod.zip - is that the same horse armour, only without the micropayments involved?

The Must play 2 a day thing died pretty fast, huh? It's ok, I know what it's like doing shit like this. The enthusiasm wanes pretty quickly after a couple of days and you'd just rather take a break and do nothing. I should really finish my Iron Warriors. meh.

Well I wasn't actually sniping at you there. Moreso pointing out that 2 reviews with piccies a day is a pretty big ask, and hence we started with two for a few days, went down to one for a few days, detoured with horse armour, and once you're refreshed somewhat you'll go back up to two. And then most likely cycle through similar until you get bored.

Yes, you were.  I notice your Schild sniping, sometimes.   You even used him as an example of insignificance elsewhere.  Do it more.

Why would you do something like this during the weekend in which I must pretend to be a pagan rabbit for my son's amusement? Not that I really want the horse armor....

Why am I homeless?  Why do all you motherfuckers need homes is the real question.

Yes I snipe sometimes. It can be amusing, and it's needed on occasion. However, I wasn't in this case. I was actually empathising, though what I originally wrote before I changed it to post came off as sniping.

Using him as an example of insignificance in the other thread wasn't really a shot at him, since I said the same thing about myself in the same sentence, and even implied that he has more pull than I do in the games industry (which is true). But I think it's fair to say that Gabe and Tycho have more gaming industry pull than Schild, you or I. I'd do it more, but I haven't seen any posts really crying out for it recently.

Also. Horses need love, too.

I kinda hated the first ZOE game.  Love the turn based strategy ZOE title for the GBA though.  Its made by the Super Robot Wars devs, Winkysoft.  (Huhuh winky huhuhuh)
As to the horse armor?
Im playing Oblivion on the 360 when I get time, and it hasn't been a lot with family stuff and the odd bit of hobo smashing in Condemned.  (Now out for PCs for you crybabies who can't use a dual stick controller in first person games.)
