Yea, this particularly impacts their neighbor FIX Alliance (of which the Ars Technica folks are a part). Interesting times ahead indeed. It'll probably affect me somewhere around Fall :)

I am so glad I didn't try to get us in good with Xelas. We'd've been completely hosed.

Now merely they are hosed.

This week was fucking crazy.

First the 600 man camp of Trust's Outpost in Pure Blind's EC-P8R, with the destruction of 34 Large Caldari Towers and 2 Large Minmatar Towers and the total decimation of Trust's shipyards and taking of said outpost by BoB, ASCN, FIVE and friends. After that IRON pulled out of Deklein, BoB announced they're resting all standings, G announced they're disbanding and BoB handed the outpost to ISS.

And all of that in my allinace's backyard -_-'

As a matter of fact I swallowed one of these about two hours ago and the explanation is that it is, in fact, my hand.

Would somebody mind explaining exactly how these alliances work?  I look at this map: http://www.eve-files.com/media/corp/CRII/Latest.jpg, and see these big alliances.  But who exactly controls these big areas?  Is there one corporation called Band of Brothers, and everybody is apart of that corporation, and it rules that whole area absolutely?  Or is it made up of a bunch of different corporations, who made an alliance called Band of Brothers, and in reality, that whole area is divided up amongst many different smaller corporations?  I just wonder cause I keep hearing about major corporations like Jericho, but never see them on the map at all.

Here are the alliances: http://www.eve-online.com/alliances/

An alliance is a group of corporations that join together. Click on an alliance and you'll see the corps involved.
