I played it for a week or so in the beginning of SoG. I was also optimistic. But that was before the reality of how bad it is for any MMO that tries to do anything but promote random and massive death and mayhem. I suppose I could try and load it again, but I am pretty uninterested. My latest resolution was to stay away form it until the fucking Devs there realse a CLient that does not crash inside of 2 inutes regularly, AND they get a working Patch process. You would (or maybe not) be suprised at the incredible lengths we needed to go to just to get the first big patch.
All that aside, it still has the potential to be everything SWG couldn't be, minus the IP and dancing ho's.

I got in the D&L beta back in April of 04 and they had the same basic client then. They really didn't add anything at all in 2 years.
If you played wow beta before they implemented talent trees, and there was no hunter class, and the max level was 30... It was exactly like that but with about 50% the content. For 2 years.
