New show on FX ThiefSo what did you guys think? Defenetly not as good as the shield, but it has potential. The premiere was a bit disjointed, and my girlfriend was a bit confused, I think I understood everything that was going on, and it was basically doing a lot of stuff trying to set the show up for the season, but it could have been explained a bit better, and not so many random clips. Also, did anyone have trouble understand what the "detective guy" was saying a lot of the time? I liked it for the most part, and I have set my DVR to record the full season. |

I saw the previews for it, but neglected to watch it. I don't have the time to watch all the crap I TiVo now (although after hockey season that will probably change). I am gonna have to become independently wealthy so I can buy all the DVDs I wanna catch up on and retire so I have time to watch them.

I agree with your assessment. It was sort of "introduce 8 characters and 4 plot lines in 1 hour without really explaining much of any of it." So yes, disjointed. I'm a big Andre Braugher fan though so will give it a chance.

It was good enough I'm going to keep watching it. There did seem to be a lot packed in there, but it had potential.
