Can somebody break down for me what spawns you get in .3, .2, and .1 belts? I've been running my Punisher into .4. Once I get into a tight orbit the cruiser rats can't hit me, so I can solo everything I've found in there so far. I'm wondering what .3 looks like, and Arzi.

0.3 is more frequent cruiser and multi-cruiser spawns.

0.2 has infrequent battlecruiser and occasional multi-battlecruiser spawns of the more basic battlecruiser types (175-185k bounty usually).

0.1 has occasional interceptor spawns, battlecruiser and multi-battlecruiser spawns of more advanced types (>200k bounty, very occasionally).

Note that there are mixed spawns of BCs and frig-types, although I've yet to personally witness a spawn of BCs + interceptors. I've not yet seen a mixed spawn of BCs + cruisers. Numbers are usually 2-5 in 0.1, with occasional solo BCs or cruisers.

In our area, it's still all laser based and their range kind of sucks - I usually don't take damage until getting within 45km of a battlecruiser.

Is there a good not-too-far off spot from Neesher with battleship spawns?  Cruisers/BCs are boring in a Raven, and while I've been playing around with level 4 missions I have to be careful which ones I accept.  In a ship with just T1 gear and 1.4 million SP, it's nice to warp in at range instead of dropping out in the middle of 20+ ships/guns...

Not a safe area, but there are some 0.0 areas nearby where you might be able to get away with some ratting (just make sure you stay alligned to a safespot at all times -which should be easy in a Raven).

The nearest 0.0 is, I believe, A2-V27. I've been trying to get us acknowledged so that the locals won't shoot us there.

They're not returning my calls.

I've killed some of the BC spawns in Arzi with a Punisher, not much of a problem, just takes a while, in fact the multiple frig/destroyer spawns are way more dangerous, but still doable. Tech II small armor repairers aren't that expensive and they work wonders for your tank.

To note, there are "security differences" in the server backbone for 0.0 - I believe it goes all the way down to -1.0 for determining what kind of rats will spawn there. Killmails used to reveal "true" security rating, but that's been repaired... you'll have to determine for yourself what kind of rats spawn in a given 0.0 system now. Nearly all of them will offer up battleships, however.

(Also note that a pirate faction's "core" area, such as the Heaven constellation for the Angels or Serpentis Prime (Salvador Sarpati's personal love-planet) will obviously be among the most dangerous areas in the game, NPC-wise. I've seen multiple 1.85 million-ISK battleships spawn in Heaven.)
