Robert Howard looks like someone killed his dog.  Funcom is Norwegian for "nutsack".  Pass.

Why am I homeless?  Why do all you motherfuckers need homes is the real question.

Yea, that Robert Howard thing on...every page of that site really fucks everything up. It makes the site turn from something reasonably well designed into, well, this.

For some reason that village artwork always reminds me of Fraggle Rock.

A licensed MMO?  Shit, thats a surefire hit.  Give me a second while I liquidate all my assets and pour my cash into Funcom stock.  Its champagne and caviar from here on out, boys.

He should invest in f13. We're making a game too. It's called Dawn.

Robert Howard looks like someone killed his dog.

Well, yes. He was not a happy person. Read his wiki entry for more on that.

I always get Conan confused with Tarzan.  I always remember which is which by thinking about Cohen the Librarian.  Shit, I'm such a doofus.

I would say gratz to Lum for finally sorting out an avatar, but the one he's chosen worries me.

I'd not use his face on my product, even if there was a "happy" picture of him.  It looks like they are trying to sell Robert Howard Bar-B-Que Sauce.  FunCom, however, knows no limits of bad taste or suckery.

On the other hand, I will be begging schild for a beta account for this, as I am very curious to see how the 1/2 singleplayer 1/2 multiplayer works out, also how the action combat stuff works.

Better than the Wiki

The hype machine, how jaded it has become.  I have taken the stance of not looking at a game till it is near release.  Nothing at this point matters.  Except Warhammer, damn Mythic, but that is a game I will actually pre-purchase.

Someone worldly educate me.

Don't Asian MMO's wait till Beta to hype?  Isn't there something of bad taste in Korea or Japan not to push a game until it's close to complete, or complete and in real testing?  Naive, moi?

Is it just me or does the Funcom logo look like there's a slash running through it as in "no Fun Com" on first glance?

Seriously, between this and DNL preorders, I think we should start some sort of "games company" too.
