This is largely a content free thread  :-D (but that doesn't mean it belongs in the EQ2 forums  cool )

Previously, I would have voted Mi-Tes for best Avatar when she/he had the picture of a menacing looking baby with the caption 'For the Horde!" which split me right up.

Currently, however, I find myself amused and mesmerized by Righ's hybridization of WoW and Ipods :)

(For the record, my avatar is a photograph from Hubble taken just inside the event horizon of the nearest black hole)

Okay, so I vote for Righ.  What's your vote?

You have an avatar? If it's what you say it is, I would expect a big black box, not a small one.

I kinda dig Samwise's, but I think it comes from that comic or whatever I haven't ever found funny.

I like the Ben Stiller one from your portfolio there Schild.  The caption you had wais funny.  What film is picture from?

Margalis - you can't vote for yourself.  So choose wisely - much rides on this informal poll   cheesy

My favorite was Shockeye's with the hugely fat cat in the Superman outfit.

That and I like the dancing monkey. He's been dancing for years now.

Last I heard - Schild was still working out the details of the prize  wink

(actually, would not be a bad idea to give the winner preferred seating on the next beta invite ticket that comes to f13  smiley )

I'm mesmerized by that map.  It's like they had a nice, orderly grid system going and then some lunetic civil engineer decided "Aw fuck it, let's turn everything on a 45 degree angle just to mix things up"

I vote Supercat.
I also like Fabricated's, Morphiend's (even though I don't know what it's from) and at least one hundred and six of Signe's avatars.  If I didn't have animated gifs turned off I'd have voted Righ.

Idiot impressed by other idiot.

Sadly, it loses some detail in its current, tinier version.  The expressiveness is what makes it so funny to me.

Don Hertzfeldt has made all kinds of nice little avatars. I'm surprised Signe hasn't already used this one.  And I like this one a lot.

Anyways.

My vote goes to our resident Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer.

I do so hope that you've already seen Rejected.

I assumed that to be the case as soon as I arrived, but you posted that picture like you'd never seen it before.  Please tell me I'm wrong and a presumptuous asshole.

Good god, man.

Here.  Not great quality, I'm sure you can find a better one.

(And you can find "Ah L'Amour" easily on Google... it's the first match if you search for that title, I believe.  Much less refined than Rejected, but still good.)

Thanks for that, never thought to check him out on Google Video before. Hadn't seen Genre before... eh.  Billy's Balloon, though, my god.  Forgot how funny that is.  If I was not lazy, I'd make an animated avatar of the two kids suspended in air by their balloons waving at each other.

Yep, that's Denver. Wee! I think it might have had something to do with putting skyscrapers up with their broadsides into the winds from the mountains, so the 45'ed it to have the corners into the wind. I heard that at a cocktail party many years ago, so who knows if that's right or not.

My residence isn't actually downtown, but I do spend the vast majority of my waking hours at that address.  rolleyes
