I'm smelling unrealistic standards.  Do you guys really not find Mischa Barton attractive?  She may not be a perfect ten but she is Very Cute. 

Honestly, who do you consider attractive that isn't on the Salma Hayek/Keira Knightly/Gwen Stefani level of hotness (YMMV on those three, but you get the idea)? 

First, Gewn Stefani is not hot.  What is she hiding behind the 3 inches of base?  There was once a quote on MetalSludge that went something like "a 10 in the pictures, a 2 when I met her in person".

As to the girl in question, her body looks nice in the swimsuit picture, but the face is just above average.

Typical Gwen Stefani we see on tv is not overly hot, there I'll agree. Makeup applied with a trowel just doesn't turn me on. Funny thing is though - watch that one No Doubt video, "Underneath it all" I think it's called, where she spends half the video on a bed wearing very little makeup. Fucking smoking hot. Go figure.

I had a devillock in highschool....Briefly. My brother was the guy with the seagull.

Anyways, I'm dealing with the bad stage of growing my hair out again. A while back I had cut my hair so the bangs grew out a bit longer than the rest.....But it ended up looking like a damn mop top later on.

I think I've rectified the situation though, and didn't do anything drastic. I WAS just going to shave it all off, but couldn't find the clippers.

Actually, I'm going through an awkward bangs growing-out phase too and they actually resemble the FOS look quite closely. When I put my hair back in a bun and side-swipe my bangs I look like a 13 yr.-old skater boi Cuz they're so long and floppy.

Well, I haven't messed with the bangs themselves. They're down to my chin now, so I'm not in the "bad bang" phase that I think you're talking about. It was everything else that was growing out all funky.

Explanation:

The last time I grew out my hair long, I started with one short length and left it alone. Since the backs of our heads are lower than our hairline, this produces a mullet/hockey-ish look in the medium/growing out phase. Once it gets long though, it looks normal.

After a while, I cut my hair short. I got tired of that about a year ago, and then decided to grow it out again. This time around, I sought to avoid that mullet phase and kept my bangs at a longer length than the rest of my hair.

Well, it did, but in it's place, it produced a Ringo-ish/Cousin It effect. I'm not sure that's any better than a Mullet.

The chick I talked to today said I did the right thing, and that in a couple of months it'll look good. She just trimmed a little....I hope she's right.
