It is with regret that we announce the cancellation of the “RYL: Path of the Emperor” $1,000,000 skill-based tournament.
Over these past few months, we have spent considerable time and effort trying to develop failsafes that would negate the cheating that originally lead to the tournament’s suspension.
Unfortunately, the game developer has been unable to correct these technical issues in a way that we feel is foolproof.
As a result, the company cannot assure the fairness and equity of the tournament.
We’d like to thank the “RYL: Path of the Emperor” community for their support and understanding through this matter. This is a great community, and we hope you will continue to enjoy the game.

Why am I not surprised they've found a way not to let go of the million they've probably come nowhere near making. haha, what's funny is that the gear executable that made cheating easy in AC 1 still works on this game. Whoever was coding that piece of shit couldn't figure out how to stop it. So you could fly around 50 times faster than you were supposed to and attack 100 times per second. Couldn't fix it.  |

I have to laugh at anyone that was stupid enough to play this crappy game in the hopes of winning a million dollars by pwning with impunity. This game was so bad, not even the possibility of winning a crapload of money was worth playing. You'd have to pay me in advance.

That's two canceled million dollar contests. I had Advent Rising and xbox live. If I'd just signed up, I'd have gotten free games. RyL will probably have to subsidize this one as well. I'm definately signing up for gaming contests now.

Bah, cancelling the contests doesn't make them bastards. Releasing RYL in the first place is their true crime against humanity.
