Can someone give me a good site or two for quality emulators and roms?  It's been several years since I've downloaded one and I'm having trouble sifting through the googled bullshit.  I'm mostly interested in NES and SNES.

www.zophar.net

While they dont list roms, other then stuff like tech demos and homebrews that are in public domain, they DO list practically every emulator known to man, for every platform you could possibly imagine (emulate your SNES or NES on everything from PC and Gamecueb to your cellular phone or digital camera).

As to ROMS, since they are generally illegal AND it is a pain in the ass to find a website that doesent make you jump through more hoops then a Three Ring Circus to get a few, I would reccomend checking out your serviceprovider's newsgroups.  alt.binaries.(system).roms will generally get you a good selecton of roms, with someone posting a bigass rom flood about once every week or so.

No.

My recommendations.

SNES: ZSNES
NES: Nestopia
Genesis: Gens
PSX: epsxe
GBA: VisualBoy Advance or NO$GBA

For GBA, VisualBoy is more featureful and more compatible overall, but NO$GBA is really, really fast.

Jesus, it was great about...8 or so years ago, or if you have a 486. It's painfully inaccurate.
