Let me preface.  I have played GTA Vice City and purchased GTA Los Santos.  I like both games, but was never overly taken with anything Rockstar put out.  The games are fun, but not addictive to my play style.  I am 36, and was barely old enough to see The Warriors with my dad when it was released theatrically.  I had not thought of that movie in a long time, though I would occassionally catch a snippit on late night TV.  I looked the game over and did some reading up on it before picking it up Friday.  I have spent about 12 hours playing it now, about three of that strictly co-op with a friend who also got the game.  So far I am really enjoying the damn thing, much more than I did Los Santos.  I like the chaos of the combat when things get crazy.  I like being able to damn near pick up anything and destroy anything, and the fact that the NPC gang (both friendly and non) is pretty decent.  You can hit your own people, they make fun of your fuckups.  Mugging people occassionally illicits a strange response from the mugged.

Overall, I give the game a thumbs up.  Give it a rental if anything, but I feel better about spending the money on this one than on Los Santos.

It's ok, you could have been calling it "GTA: ¿Qué tal? Mi amigo" and we would've known what you were talking about.

Warriors fighting system is SWEEEEET. The combat gets crazy intense in some areas. My favorite level is when you are running from like 30 guys. So I stopped and tried to fight them all ^^ THAT right there is how chaotic MMO fighting SHOULD be.

Lol,

Sorry I didn't even realize the dates on some of these things. Stumbled onto the site during work and have had plenty of time to just read a whole bunch.

I liked the game up to a point where you had to trash some dude's gallery or something on a stingy timer. I replayed that a gazillion times. Never even got close, almost broke my controller, so I just decided it was time to just drop the game. Up to that point I loved it, there were some frustrating moments, but I suck at consoles so I'm used to that. The gallery thing just killed it for me.

As a matter of fact I swallowed one of these about two hours ago and the explanation is that it is, in fact, my hand.
