10/25/05 - Resident Evil 4: The PS2 Remix

Having played this a bit, I'm happy to say that not much has been lost in the translation from Gamecube to the PS2. The graphics are about as good as you're going to get on the PS2 and the dual shock controller is much better for the game. I'll be picking this up next week as well and WILL play THROUGH it this time. I never got through the gamecube version due to not having component cables at the time and being a pompous asshole about video quality. This one having more bonus materials, it seems like it's the one to actually go through.

Also, if you have a PS2 and didn't play the gamecube version - this game is a no brainer. It's game of the year material, in a year where the competition was actually super stiff.
