Anyone want to put together a late teens run into Wailing Caverns tonight? That's Tuesday, Sept. 20th probably around 8 pm CST or so. I have 2 quests in the zone, and can probably share them.

If we go early I can probably go.

Also, there are 7 quests for WC.

Some in Ratchet, TB, and in a cave about the entrance to the dungeon. I have no idea how people found those quests, they are so hard to get to if you dont know the way.

I'd be interested, but I'm not certain on how long WC takes.  If it's over 2 hours I'd say don't count on me.

With Hat the other night I think it took around 2 hours or so. We had what.. a group of 4 or 5.

I'll be on there as my hunter, Kelthos.  Got 5 of the quests so I guess I'll have to track down the other 2.

There's 3 or so quests "hidden" just at the entrance to WC. If you climb the mountain and then drop down on top of the cave entrance you can find a hole above the real entrance. In there's there a bunch of NPCs handing out quests.

Two quests come from that cave and they can be shared.

I'd love to go and I'm almost level 20.  Sadly, I am PST and I work tonight.  If anyone wants to go *late-night* (>10pm) so to speak, speak up in /guild.

Oh and WC is one of the longer low level instances.  Conservatively 2 hours, probably more like 3, IMO.

SPT was a great healer for someone who complains so much about having to heal   :-D

We'll have to bring more swords and stuff for Morph.. his undeath seems to have affected his equipment (of course using a level 10 sword on level 19 mobs doesn't help either.. More equipment quests for Horde plz thx.)

You guys know it doesn't save the instance right?

Level 16-21 in a week? PFt.. we're slowasses, there's level 50+ running around.  Shock has catassed himself to level 30+ already.

Yeah, but the way wailing is laid-out and Morph was explaining things you have a few 'wings' to go down rather than a linear instance such as Deadmines. We cleared the left side and only need to do the right to get the quests that we've got finished.

What Merusk said.

Also, Horde instances compared to things like Deadmines? BLOW ASS. I have yet to see an instance for the Horde under level 30 that had anywhere near the character and fun factor that Deadmines did. Blackfathom, Wailing Caverns and Ragefire all feel like copy-and-paste dungeons to me.

But they are fun with a good group.

Shadowfang Keep is defenetly the only good pre 30 horde instance. Although, if we wanted we could make the treak, and hit up deadmines. There are no quests for it, but it can be done.

I did roll up an alt already a Warlock, cause my friend is leveling his priest so slow, I figured I would catch my warlock up to him, and help him catch up with my Warrior.

Well, you do realise that there is an "Event" boss + quest in WC that can only be done if you clear the instance in one run.

If you kill all 4 "leaders of the fang" in one run you can run a quest from the druid at the entrance for a boss (some farily nice drops) + a quest (some decent exp and rewards).

The druid escort/fight is by far the toughest fight in WC and also the most fun.
