TERRORIST WANTS 'MUNICH' SAYTHE Palestinian terrorist who masterminded the massacre of Israeli athletes at the 1972 Olympics is miffed — because Steven Spielberg didn't consult him when making "Munich," his upcoming film about the horrific attack. Mohammed Daoud, who has been on the run for decades, surfaced in a telephone call to Reuters — saying he's the only one who knows what went on. "If someone really wanted to tell the truth about what happened he should talk to the people involved, people who know the truth," Daoud said from somewhere in the Middle East. "Were I contacted, I would tell the truth." "Munich" details how an Israeli agent, played by Eric Bana, headed a Mossad hit team that tracked down and killed 11 Palestinians in the years after the raid. Daoud, of the terrorist Black September group, is the only surviving terrorist responsible for the massacre in Munich's Olympic Village that left 11 Israelis dead. Daoud fumed that Israel "carried out vengeance against people who had nothing to do with the Munich attack, people who were merely politically active or had ties with the PLO." Daoud, now in his 70s, survived his own Mossad attack when he was shot five times in a Warsaw coffee shop in 1981. |

Daoud fumed that Israel "carried out vengeance against people who had nothing to do with the Munich attack, people who were merely politically active or had ties with the PLO. They also carried out vengeance on some poor bastard who just looked like one of the terrorists...not one of Israel's finest hours. OTOH, they sent a very clear message to the rest of the world that they would not be fucked with. Speilberg should invite Daoud to come and read the script so the Mossad can check him off their list. |
