I like the flight paths as well.

Instant travel (e.g. clicking on bells in EQ2 or POP books in EQ) ruins the atmosphere in a game for me.

I feel the same.  That said I wouldn't mind a secondary healthstone and/or the ability to jump off the fliers.

Really all I want is a personal flight beast.  The one thing I loved most about CoH was the variety of self-travel.

Even with super jump, arguably the fastest travel method in CoH, I found it boring eventually crossing steel canyon to get to one tram from the other. WoW travel may be slow, but for some reason it still doesn't bother me as much as it seems to bother others. I just use the time to read web pages or something. I didn't mind the stones in EQ either, but I do admit they made the world seem smaller, and mark and recall in UO was totally fucked up in that a lot of people had no idea how to get to half the places they had runes for.

Of course, overland travel in UO was pretty horrid anyway. Nothing like adventuring in poorly designed suburban sprawl to ruin any sense of immersion in the world. Housing was only cool in UO for your own house. Everyone elses house sucked.

Alt-tab definently is great in slow games.

Also, I second the motion to jump off griffs.  Everythings there (there used to be exploits you could use to get off one), they just need to let engineering parachute cloaks BoE and one time use three max inventory items.

I wish for the boats that you could buy a ticket and when the boat came, it automatically put you on it and off of it when you reached your destination. It's too easy to miss the damn boat otherwise. I have no problem with the length of time the boat ride takes place, I would just rather have that bit of convenience of being able to go get the beer while I'm taking the boat or zep.

Yes!  That's what I'm saying.  I also congratulate Blizz for allowing me to alt-tab.  I get to catch up on my WoW information surfing at the same time. (Read: more pron with my beer.)

Alt-Tab makes me crash.

But not when I do it, oh no - that would be too easy.

It waits until I try to log out of the app and THEN it crashes.  Big Blue Screen.

Think it's the video drivers.  It's ruined my macros and setup more times than the wife.

That's a fantastic idea.  Drop it on the Suggestions forums.

Long as we're suggesting stuff, how bout makin it so someone can disenchant an item in the not tradeable window? Shouldn't be too hard right?

Doubt this will happen. It would flood the market with shards from people upgrading gear and turning it into shards. Not that the market isn't fairly flooded now, at least on my server, with all the people who solo lower level dungeons and turn all the bop drops into shards but at least the higher end ones have held their value fairly well and if people could disenchant old gear I doubt it would continue. I'd love to be able to do it too, it killed me selling a dwarven hand cannon to a vendor for 4g when I paid over 400 for it but I would guess this is the reason it won't.

I understand the purpose of soulbound.  I simply think it is unimaginative and in WoW's case too broadly implemented.
