Yea, pretty sure it's twitch, downloading now. Takes up 1GB. I have nothing else to say til I play it. I'll be on as Schild sometime this afternoon.

I get an error when creating account.  Will try again later.

No Nerf, but I put a link to this very thread and I said that you all can guarantee for my purity. I even mentioned your case, and see if they can take a look at your lawn from a Michigan perspective.

I hear it has real bad netcode and has lots of disconnect issues. Good luck!

Doesn't seem like it's available for download in europe, they seem to really love thanking me for helping them with their closed beta testing, even when I've never seen the thing before.

Dear Softnyx,

Can I have back my context sensitive mouse cursor please?  Sometimes just because you can do something doesn't mean you should.

Thank you,

Just tooling around their website (classic engrish) saw this little blurb

Quote
To enjoy faster Rakion

Rakion is best suited with 256M or higher memory.
Lowing resolution displays well around 10~20% better than normal.
Window 98 is the best to operate it any other O/S.

So, um, yeah.  Let me know how it pans out...

Despite poor translation and such I finally managed to get an account made.  I literally had to try 15 different fucking account names; I try and stick to the ones I use in other games because my memory fucking blows.  How the hell does anyone else use my registration name I wonder.  It is not even a word in english; unless thats the problem.  Downloading now.  You done with EQ2 boss?

I might need to polish my engrish but it looks like open beta hasn't started yet, although I'm very interested in seeing how it is.

Again I could be wrong but they were talking an awful lot about a closed two week beta from Aug11-25 and then doing some work and another closed beta for S.America then launching an open beta in Q3.

Its a closed Beta so far as you have to sign up for it.  Download lost conn partway through.  I will attempt to DL again tomorrow.

Necro Motherfuckers!@!!

Yeah, did anyone actually play this ever?  Word on the street is that it is f2p and I've heard it compared to Gunz which sounds like a good thing to me.  I was convinced that this and RF-Online were the same things so I never tried it when I was messing around w/ Gunbound for awhile.

I played it for a few weeks a while back. It was kind of cool, I guess.

Hacking was pretty rampant (character stats stored client-side, what?), but even if you hacked your way up, you had to p2p to advance your character past level 15 or so. I think it was because all the gear started requiring cash + gold, or you wouldn't get any skill points if you didnt buy cash... or... some stupid shit.

All in all, it's not like "WOW RAKION IS THE WAVE OF THE FUTURE", but it's not shit for a "free" game either.
