Heh, I pulled the pic from Google. It looks like a pack of Ore-ida hashbrowns with cheese on top. If I know my casseroles (which I do), it prolly has a can of cream of mushroom soup in there somewhere.
Mmmmm...casserole. I've been waiting for ti goet cool enough to start really using the oven again, but it keeps getting sunny and hot. Today it was all cold and overcast so I went to the store and got fixins for mushroom-beef-barley soup and biscuits, and by the time I got home it was already all sunny out. It's like the sun just pops out and says "Oh you wanna cook? FACE!"

I love beef!  Beef wellington is easy to make. I made it with venison once (Sauced's chef bro b-day dinner). I'll necro the recipe in the recipe thread. |

Believe me, I've thought about it. I live in a town with the best burger place and I've ever eaten at.
Well, I could eat beef regularly, if I felt like shitting myself to death. Goddamn bovine protien allergy. I'm just hoping they invent a pill for beef like they did for lactose. Not having to go cold turkey on cheese has kept me sane.

Seriously, give ostrich a try. It's not game-y at all, and is meaty and juicy (and red) like beef. Makes an awesome enchilada. Venison is also wonderful, and is an ungulate, not a ruminant (different type of herbivore), so there shouldn't be any bovine protein issues. If you make friends with your local fancy grocery store butcher, he should be able to order exotic meats for you.
