I never got a welcome either, but then again, I never lurked. I do, however, recall being welcomed pretty instantly in that I never got n00blerized by anyone (it helps to suck up to an admin on the first day). We might be the only women who post consistantly, though Xant is here more and more often, but there are other women... lurking. When we're not available, they watch you.
I really wish they post more. We need our own titles or something. Like Honourary Princess of F13. That belongs to VDL. :)  I like the sound of that. Although, Roac has already accused me of being the Prima Donna of f13. I think he meant it as an insult, but I took it as a compliment. I like Signe's hot pink idea, but I think "Pricktease" would be a better title for us. (and yes, I can hit you from here with my Level 26 loogy-hocking skills, so watch yourself)
That would have been funnier if you hadn't already burned your "I'm a level X Y" joke recently. The "Level X Y" joke never gets old, Strazos. Hasn't Europe taught you anything? |

Two reasons - One: you posted so many times in the first two days, that most people never even realized you were a noobler. Two: there was a chance you might actually be female, and most of the board didn't know how to react. I think mostly it was reason one though. Hell, you made enough posts in your first week to pass my post count I think. I'd call you a Board Whore, but that might get construed really wrongly. |

Sadly, I came in so strong that it's been really difficult to find anything as funny as Fairyland since. I left myself a rilly tough act to follow. I should've just disappeared for a month and then resurfaced with something as startling. Whatevs.

On the commercial for that stupid Martin Lawrence-esque movie with some dude playing an old lady (I honestly can't remember what it is), the guy/lady says to the judge, "You ain't FINNUH put me on house arrest!" I wanted so badly to find a way to sample it so that it plays over and over whenever someone looks at my profile. But, alas, I have no skills and my kung fu is weak.
