Thinking about Becoming Mature Student

I had a hot teacher at School.  My English Teacher.  Which is why I now have an English Degree.


My point is that, at no point beyond my very, very vivid fantasies, did she ever want to do anything with/to me.

I was a mature-looking young child, at 14 I was always mistaken for 18+, and I was, unbeknownst to me, fairly hot for a country boy.  There were a number of attractive young 18 year old women who informed me, directly or otherwise, that they would love to get in my pants, if only I was of legal age.  Since I was already one screwed up puppy at that age, I deeply regret that they didn't.

Particularly since I haven't been anywhere near that hot in the 30+ years since then.

On the other hand, I was a TA in grad school, and the kinds of improper pressure I could have brought on my legally mature students was vast.  I shudder to think what I could have wrought on a less mature audience.  Kids are easily manipulated.

So I guess the question I come to is how we know that this stuff is bad for kids.  Sure, it is easy to look at victims of teenaged sexual abuse and say they are screwed up, but could that be because they were already screwed up?  I mean, with a mother like we saw in the Jackson case, is the boy going to be normal even if he doesn't wind up in Jackson's bed?  Had one or all of those young ladies said 'hell with it, I'm jumping him', I doubt I would have been seriously damaged by it.  Hell, it would probably be a fond memory.  Yet I'm hesitant to write off such things.  I've met too many screwed up young women over the years with tales of abuse and misuse to ignore.  And I can't think that guys are that different, except that the kind of life-destroying excessive promiscuity the female abuse victim often shows is considered 'normal' for men.

In fact, I think that the real difference is not between sexes, but between people.  Some people get PSTD from combat, some don't.  Prehaps they are the same when it comes to sex at an early age.

5. Statutory Rape for males should be downed to under 15 while girls remain under 18. The moment men hit high school, the #1 thing on their mind is boobies. Followed by figuring out how to get liquor, cigarettes, and M Rated Games. And into R-Rated movies - depending on where they live.

So - in support of Schild's #2 point.

I had been working as a camp counselor for a number of years, (It was more of an excuse to spend a week making out with female counselors in my mind.) - The summer I turned 18 one of the older counselors (24 was old to me at that time) and I hooked up. She said she had wanted to do it earlier, but had been waiting until I turned 18 - because well - I don't think she liked the thought of jail time.

So anyways... I go back to school the next fall and she is student teaching one of my classes.

Well, at least in Britain, it's all related to buggery.  It used to be out and out illegal but now it's just restricted.  I think it's still illegal in Northern Ireland.

Fact of the matter :  Women chewing box is hot.  No law against it.  Dick being squeezed tightly into anal cavaty of another man to the incessent grunt, grunt, grunt of the construction worker is not hot.  Therefore, laws against it.

As far as teachers go I had one really hot teacher back when I was about 14. I would have been head over heels for her if it wasn't for the fact that she was a complete and utter bitch (gave an entire class detention once for calling her miss instead of ma'am). She was let go after a year, all signs point to the fact that she was carrying on with the head boy. He was old enough but obviously the school didn't want this going on and didn't want any scandal so she was encouraged to move on.

But to comment on this I agree that it seems different for a woman to have sex with an underage boy than vice versa but I think that it's deeply unfair to say that a teacher who seduces say a 14 year old boy can get off but a man who sleeps with a 17 year old girl gets sent to pound-me-in-the-ass-federal prison. Hell he might not even know she was underage. She knew what she was doing, it's against the law, she has to pay the price and that will remain my position until having a 15 year old girl saying that she enjoyed having a sexual realtionship with her teacher gets him off jailtime too (and no this doesn't mean I'd think it's ok, simply an equality thing).

For some reason, reading Nowhereman's posts, I remember AGES ago when Righ and I were admin for Discworld Mud.  I have to say... there is no animal more lonely and more sad than a Brit boy during his first year away at Uni.  I used to cry for them... when I wasn't taunting them mercilessly with my uber godlike feminine intardweb powers.  The internet wasn't so scary back then and since most of them lived in the UK, they used to come visit us sometimes.  Once a whole herd of Welsh Uni lads came to visit.  I would feed them home-cooked food and we would all get stoned.

My comments:

She is hot. I wish she'd been my teacher.

As for the age of consent stuff. Let's just say I side more with Europe and Japan than with the U.S. on this one. I think 16 is fine, and frankly, if we're being honest, I think some are mature enough emotionally earlier than that. That being said I'm not about to put that theory to the test. If I ever went to jail I'd be somebody's bitch and I know it.
