You've been watching Densha Otoko? Good man.

Once again, your recommendation.  I'll get to Yoshitake (?) eventually.

Why am I homeless?  Why do all you motherfuckers need homes is the real question.

Friggin huge eyes. Is that one of those "Grey" aliens with makeup and a wig?

You go to hell and you die.

Signe, I'll forgive because she makes me laugh.  Your just a lil european yes-man to Ironwood's rants, I piss on your country!  WE HAVE THE BOMBS STARS AND STRIPES FOREVER.   Rock on!

And so on, never make fun of her again I have brought my number of "OMFG HAWT" celebrity crushes down to 4, but those four can not be spoken of by the likes of you.

A nation consists of its laws. A nation does not consist of its situation at a given time. If an individual's morals are situational, then that individual is without morals. If a nation's laws are situational, that nation has no laws, and soon isn't a nation.

Only because you won't tell me all the names of all your celebrity crushes. Of course I will have to wait for Ironwood to speak ill of them and then agree.

Can I first die and then go to hell? Less paperwork.

I am a huge fan of Lost, and have found more evidence to hate everything that is UK.

Why the fuck do we not get rad promo videos like this?

No Nerf, but I put a link to this very thread and I said that you all can guarantee for my purity. I even mentioned your case, and see if they can take a look at your lawn from a Michigan perspective.

3. Yeah, I missed that drumbeat as well. The Celtic Song didn't work without that contrast. Damn, did it again.

Aren't those little Nim thingys adorable?  They're the perfect pet.  They snuggle with you and can fry your enemies.  I want 3.

I think the options for the Nim pets are one or all of them. I don't think you can have just 3.

Since the wonder box named Tivo has been mentioned a few times in this thread, just thought that I would alert you to a problem that has hit a few Tivo machines.

http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?t=283908&page=1&pp=30

The problem is that the machine will cut off the end of recorded programs, mine started to do this about a week ago, but I didn't take action till it decided to cut off the last 8 min of BG.  That got my attention.

Fix is to do a shutdown reboot.

and how about that last Battlestar Galactica? Apollo is top dog now. Woot.

As a matter of fact I swallowed one of these about two hours ago and the explanation is that it is, in fact, my hand.

BSG has entered stall-mode, apparently.  Next week, the corpse of Larry Hagman will be captaining Pegasus.

Why the fuck are they having elections?  The Colonies were destroyed just eight months ago.  Stupid.  Baltar can be an evil prick without this lame plot device.

So - I've taken to listening to the podcasts at work...

Recall when Baltar was in the opera house on Cobal with Six and she showed him "the child"?

Originally. The scene was written as follows:

1. Baltar goes into a white room.
2. Dirk Benedict walks up to him and says, "Hi Baltar, I'm god."

I do agree that advancement of the plot has been forgotten about, but I do think that in the episode where Baltar becomes VP, they mentioned that there would be elections in 6 months for Pres.

They way that the last few episodes have been I am shocked that they remembered that.

OK, maybe it's just me but in the "Previously..." portion of the show I swear to the Flying Sphagetti Monster that they put footage in there that wasn't in previous episodes.  Neither my wife nor I remembered the scene where Adama puts Engineer Man in command of Pegasus.  Did we just miss that, or are they slipping things in?

Is it me, or is the Shield slipping this season? I'm not really into any of the plots other then figuring out who got Danny prego.

They've done that for the past couple of episodes (may have been farther back, but there was a scene with Starbuck they used as a "previously on" that didn't happen in an episode).  Either they're being very clever or they're using material that they've cut from previous episodes that's somewhat important back story.

I think it was from episode 13 or 14 from season 2.  It wasn't from the last 3 eps.

edit: clarification on the season.

The only TV I watch is BSG.

For those of you asking about the "Previously on BSG" parts and saying you hadn't seen some of those shots before. They are from editted scenes. I beleive Ron Moore confirmed it in his podcasts.

Lots of shows use the "previously" opening to remind you of the setup for plot elements that will be dealt with in that episode. Not necessarily from the last few episodes, sometimes SG1 will show things from a few seasons ago when they dredge up an old plotline or character.

Lost does that shit all the time with the previous stuff. Scares the crap out of me too sometimes because they start dealing with season one stuff and there's a moment of panic where I say, "OMG REPEAT! OH NOES!"

Right, BSG goes as far bask as they need to in order to prime the current crop of left-field scripts.  I'm fine with that.

It is good to confirm that they are putting in unaired scenes [re: Riggs' post] because now we won't have to pause the show and debate about when the hell such and such happened.  I remember we were confused in a recent Starbuck episode, but we were really sure there was no scene in which Tigh criticized Adama's assignment to Pegasus command.

What the hell happened to that "Cylon device" they found in the CIC in season one?  RARG!

They used it when Boomer blew up the cylon basestar near Kobol.  Apparently it was some sort of Cylon ID transponder.

Are they trying to remind the regular viewers that they have completely ignored a bunch of storylines?

I've really come around the last few weeks on Boondocks.  I watched about 40% of "the Garden Party" and was mostly kind of bored.

Sam Jackson playing himself as a white gangsta wannabe is pure fun though.

For some reason,  I enjoy 12 oz. mouse.  Don't ask me why.

Justice League is airing again, too.  It's usually pretty fun.

Really looking forward to the Sopranos,  and I might even give Big Love (Paxton as a Mormon with three wives,  hinting at interesting family issues and corruption in church hierarchy) a shot.

I fell out of the BSG loop,  but I'll probably catch up over the summer when the next batch of dvds hits.

Other then that,  been watching a bit of the Daily Show and Colbert Report.  Colbert is fucking hilarious,  but I'm still surprised he hasn't been cancelled yet.
