Aslan is my mind controlled love slave. I use him to keep me happy as I play. In return I help him level.

I finished up at 11, suprising since I had to work and go to class 2 of the 3 days. Best Buy won't have my copy until Thursday. Since I'm busy all day today I'm in no big hurry to get it till then.

I got to 8th. Didn't play much last night on account of being totally whupped tired. When I finally did get on, I went right to a mission where I promptly got killed, returned, and then in the middle of a fight, they took the servers down.

I didn't realize they literally were going to shut the servers off at 11 pm CST. I figured since some folks could actually buy the game somewhere, they'd have kept it up. /shrug

I am no one's slave, you pansy-assed enuch.  I am Aslan, Lord of Catassery!  Bow before me and tremble at my awesome might and that cute little title attached to my name.   Don't make Aslan Brady get out of this car and choke a bitch.

I got my blaster and my scrapper to 6th, and my controller through the tutorial (2nd). That adds up to 14 levels, right? =P

I got to level 6 (The Shavinator damn you spreadsheet man, update it already).  I would get the box 'cept I've got this notion that doing so would have bad effects on my finals next week.

Gawd I love finals.  Almost as much as root canals.  Slightly less than Wisdom Tooth extraction.

I'm going to unleash some phone based hate at EB if they haven't shipped the damn game to me by the time I get home.  That coupled with the computer not showing up until next week (although I can run on my current rig) will guarantee that there is at least one sidekick in Bat Country.

True to my fashion of being unable to decide what character I want to play. I got one up to lvl 7, and two more guys to lvl 4. So if I combine all that, I got to lvl 15 also. YAY.

Well, after a bit of a talking to, I sent Riggs out on a quest to garner two shiny new boxes of CoH.  So, I hope by the time I get home from work, I shall begin catassing anew, and all will be well, and all manner of things will be well.

Due to a highly unusual floating holiday, I was able to get my casual playing ass to 10 by end of Tuesday.  And this morning what do I behold when checking stuff before heading to work?  NCSOFT selling cd keys online.

Woot!  I was back at 730am est in time to see certain of our catasstic folks who hadn't slept yet.  30 min before work; 45 min lunch and umpteen dead lost later, im 2 boxes from 11.  Screw the $10 pre-order at best buy; they wont even have the game til thursday anyway...

I'm not addicted; i swear.

BTW, loving the Storm/Energy Defender thus far.  Picked up my 3rd damage power and am soloing much easier than my old electrical guy.  Can't wait til i get sniper blast.

I got Conjecture to lvl 11 and The Nanites to lvl 10.   If the idea was to get me out of Kings Row prior to release, then mission doubly accomplished.

I've already obtained my retail box and Conjecture's hit lvl 12 now.

You guys soloing or gouping?  I only played one day of the prerelease thing and abit yesterday and got to level 8.  I would guess maybe 8 hours of playing total with an hour or two of that just chatting.

Still have not gotten in the supergroup yet.  I keep forgetting the ingame names of the officers, heh.  Saw whipcrack, and said hi, but he just wandered off.

Probably the most reliable way to get supergrouped, at least in my limited experience, is to send a /tell over to Mr. Ripley saying "Hi! I'm <your name here> from the F13.net boards.  Can I get a SG invite" and Mr. Ripley will reply, "Go to hell!".    Then you send him $5 and you're in.

I may have gotten a bit fuzzy about some of the later steps, however.

Or just log on to the TS server and say "Invite me to supergroup bitches." then we can all laugh at how silly it sounds when some one says supergroup out loud. Some one else can tell you about Zombies eating your brains through your ass. and by that time, you should ahve got the SG invite.

Make sure you have a mic plugged in before trying to talk in Teamspeak or else we may just mock you for awhile knowing that you can't say anything back.

Yeah, I am well aware of how to get in.  I just have not bothered doing so yet.

And I have company coming in this weekend so probably won't bother till next week at the earliest.

14 is an AWSOME level. Any of the movement powers are freaking fun. I have  tested them all and they all rock in their own way.

Flight kicks booty the ability to jet around through the huge skyscrapers is a blast. It is also totally safe if you fly high enough and it is awsome for hunting out in the cities.

Teleport this is an end hog but holy cow can you whip across the zones. I will say that lagging when teleporting is VERY disorienting but it is a great power.

Super speed I got a taste of this with siphon speed and wooooo its fun to run that fast through the streets.

Jump I think is my favorite it is a rush bouding rapid fire through towns and it is very quick.

Yeah, fly is slick, but unless we are meeting on a rooftop, I could beat electron blue anywhere with super speed.  Well, except that visit four locations in perez park...  He did great on that one.

They all have their places.  Teleportation is the fastest, but it is an endurance HOG.  Then superspeed, but you have to get to know the maps to keep from getting stuck behind a wall or something.  Then superjump, just a hair slower than super speed.  A person knowing the map will win with superspeed.  Then fly.  Flight is definately the slowest of the movements but it is fun and once you throw some single origins in it, it moves pretty darn quick.  I imagine there is a speed cap that superspeed will hit pretty fast.  Plus flight is great for places like faultline and boomtown.  I personally am going superspeed and superjump for my character.  Just because flight and teleport don't fit with him.
