DVD and new compilation forthcoming from 4AD, downloadable EP:

Tour dates are on Frank Black's site:

DiscLive are selling limited editions of the shows for serious moolah, but they're selling out fast:

First two warm-up gigs are easy to find through the usual torrent sites.

Whoa x 2. I was always under the impression Kim Deal and Frank Black hated each other with a white-hot passion. Too bad they are coming absolutely nowhere near me.

I saw Frank Black play in Jackson right after his first solo albumn came out, with Joey Santiago on guitar. Helluva great show, especially with Rev. Horton Heat opening up for them.

I saw them on the Throwing Muses' tour in '88 and the Doolittle tour in '89 with the fantastic Wolfgang Press. Three great bands, but Pixies were the kings of the 4AD label at this point. Looks like Frank Black is calling the shots - no East coast dates... so much hate.

They still sound damn fine. Even on their first gig in 12 years. Talented bastards.

Well shit on me, I'd love to see them, no love for the DC Metropolitan area though.

I do believe I will attend the Phoenix/Mesa show. Will be nice to see them together again after all these years.

I have a greater chance of seeing Frank Black back in Britain or Holland  than here, in his home town. :(

They're playing Philly now. Also, the latest unconfirmed is DC:

Nice one. Skinny Puppy and The Pixies in one year. This is a good year. Maybe Half Life 2 will grace my computer as well.

Half Life 2? Yeah, and I hear Jesus is coming back to see the Jimi Hendrix Experience rebirth too. Janis, Elvis, Lennon and the Lizard King are going to guest.

Oh well, at least Half Life 2D: Codename Gordon is on the Steam Network now.

What about DNF?!?!?!?!

Too bad they aren't coming any nearer than Seattle.  I'd love to go see the show.

Righ was able to snarf up 4 tickets before all the excellent seats were gone... good on him!  He'll go with my brother in law and 2 nephews.  I'll stay home and lament the fact that I don't go to shows anymore... for purely psychological reasons.  I am a completely neurotic and dysfunctional human bean.  Last gig I went to was Gong (hehe) almost 10 years ago, I think.  Righ had to feed me 2 tabs of acid and promise not to leave my side to get me there, though.  We were young and foolish back then.

Well... foolish.
