Bored enough to give this another try, but lost my discs and I'm not paying another fifty bucks. Anyone know where I can download the client?

Annoyingly enough WoW is one of the few MMORPGs that doesn't have a front-end patching system, otherwise I would send you that piece and you could download the rest of the game data through that.

Even if you could download the client, you're gonna need a keycode to start playing. You'll have to shell out $50 for that anyway. If you lost it, you're SOL.

The keycode is paired with your account name on Blizzard's servers when you activate your account -- it's not required during install like it is for many non-MMO games and it's not stored locally on your machine. To put it another way once the client is installed on a machine anybody with a WoW account can sign on a play on that machine.

You're right now that I think about the last time I installed WoW. Not enough caffeine in the system yet.

Download a beta client and patch it up to spec?
*head explodes at memories of the shitty wannabe-Torrent download system and 2kbps transfer rates*
