What's up with that anyway? Whenever I hear anything about ninja-looting drama, inter-guild drama, or just plain drama, it's always ER or Tichondrious. And that's not just stuff from people who post here either, I see people bitching about those two servers on every other forum or website I visit that talks about WoW at any length.

I have a certain fascination with social constructs and motivations in MMORPGs that's been an area of study for years, and I've found in past MMORPGs that those who roleplay prostitutes and seductresses are usually male IRL. The RL females who RP seductresses, from my discussions with them, would not go so far as RPing a prostitute, they like to "feel sexy" but believe that selling themselves for money even in a RP context is, in their opinion, demeaning.))

Xalynne:  (( Believe it or not, but Xalynne/Amber is two different people. We're husband and wife. We both like to play, but with a 2 year old son and full-time jobs, we really can't devote the time we'd like to devote to a character. So we take turns using the same character, we just play her in our own style, and call it an "alternate personality". We don't tell each other what we've done, either, so the two personalities can remain seperate. ))

Xalynne (( Amber (the prostitute/amoral side) is normally played by me (male, husband) with input from my wife where needed. I'll often defer to her judgement calls when I'm not sure what Amber would do in a given situation.  We both came to an agreement on the Amber personality- that it's Xalynne's survival mechanism, her way of dealing with things her fragile mind just cannot handle at this point in her life. We agreed that Amber would do and say just about anything to survive, and I fleshed her out from there. ))

Not surpisingly, several of the guys that were soliciting Xalynne quietly vanished from the thread at this point.
