It began a year and a half ago when Atlus localized a little Japanese gem of a strat game called Disgaea. Then they annouced a deal to let Working Designs localize the excellent Growlanser games. Those two together would have been enough to earn my good will, but they didn't stop. Instead they decided to localize games from their long running and immensly popular RPG series Shin Megami Tensei series, not just once or twice, but all three major additions to the series this hardware generation. And they kept the series' signature difficulty and demons intact. And now they have published one of the best FFT successors I've seen in the form of Stella Deus.
And what did they show at E3? A beautiful and startlingly different GBA RPG called Riviera, a gorgeous hand drawn PS2 RPG called Magna Carta, and Trama Center: Under the Knife - with the most exciting use of the DS's stylus yet.
Maybe there is still hope for the Japanese gaming industry, maybe... Now localize your most recent updated ports of the first two SMT games for me, eh?

Magna Carta has long intrigued me with its many many hawt character designs and stories of good gameplay. But alas it was always in korean...
Too bad I really really can't justify buying a console.

A nation consists of its laws. A nation does not consist of its situation at a given time. If an individual's morals are situational, then that individual is without morals. If a nation's laws are situational, that nation has no laws, and soon isn't a nation. -William Gibson

Why am I homeless? Why do all you motherfuckers need homes is the real question. They called it The Prayer, its answer was law Mommy come back 'cause the water's all gone

Yeah, I was actually recently wondering why no one had made a DS version of the board game Operation. If they could enable a rumble feature on the stylus it would be even better.

Thank you, Mr. Hat. I actually saved it up all last week until raging douchebag week was over. Tee hee! I got all excited when I found the image and tucked it away for safe keeping.

Ahem. I'll be getting my copy of Magna Carta in a week or so from my friends over at Atlus. If you haven't noticed, I've reviewed their past year of console releases. Keke ^_^. They truly are luv.
Edit: Oh and Daydreamer, Atelier Iris - the new Nippon Ichi game - comes out in 2 days. Edit Again: Atelier Iris, as of today, has been delayed til June 28th. Sigh.

Yes, I'm feeling that burn too (paid only once a month). Luckily I have my remnant Christmas gifts to keep me busy. And I've been such a grumpus from quitting smoking that I've taken to just getting loaded and playing Katamari Damacy again.

Sigh. Fuck. I'm so sad.
Magna Carta got delayed until Winter of this year.
I am baby. Hear me weep.
