I'd venture to guess that the GW subscription model means that come release, you'll get to see just how big an army can be. This isn't a subscription MMOG, where 90% of the fucktards are going to leave once they get asked for a credit card, but the equivalent of b.net, where release means 90% more fucktards will gain access to the game.
