DS & PSP to Go Black & White[ds] Majesco revealed today that they are working on portable versions of Black & White for the Nintendo DS and Sony PSP. It's called Black & White Creatures and will release in the first quarter of 2006. The DS version will make full use of the stylus to train and interact with the creatures. Voice recognition via the microphone will also be instituted. Not many details were released regarding the PSP version, but both games will feature new gameplay modes such as Creature Battle and Creature Dance challenge.
Virtua Tennis Returns[psp] The rumored Virtua Tennis game for the PSP will be officially announced tomorrow by Sega. IGN took a look at the game and found it to be a very close port of the PS2 version. Nothing unique about the PSP version has been said, but more should be known at E3. Sumo Digital is heading up the development.
Ripped off from Shack News. I for one jones me some B&W and Tennis action on the PSP. I'm just about through with Hot Shots, and those arcadey sports games translate well. Black and White, I'm hoping, will be more game and less simulation on the PSP - as it was crap for simulation. I would pay to just smack around my villagers...again.

Hmmm, I really enjoyed the God features of Black and White, but I wasn't a big fan of training my pet. I did enjoy calling down hellfire on rival towns, sending in missionary subverters, and growing magical forests.

Hehe yeah also enjoyed that sort of kick in the old Populous/spinoffs games. "And when his disciples James and John saw it, they said, "Lord, do you want us to bid fire come down from heaven and consume them?" - it's just proper God-perspective etiquette... ;-)

Fuck if that's anything like Virtua Tennis for the Dreamcast, I'll probably have to pick up a PSP. Hell, with the emulation shit happening so quickly, I'll want one anyhow.
Someone's already working on datalogging program for the PSP, so I'll be able to plug it into my car as well.

Holy crap! The loadtimes in Top Spin were horrible and eventually killed my interest in the game, I can only imagine how horrible they will be on the PS2.
