As per a recent post by Manticore.  We should expect this for Issue 5.

    Manticore
    Zone: Brickstown
    Secret Identity: Justin Sinclair
    Origin: Natural
    Archetype: Blaster
    Primary Powers: Bow, Gadgets
Background: Justin Sinclair was raised in a huge mansion in the outskirts of Paragon City by his English nanny, Virginia Bowman. The sole beneficiary of a huge trust fund, Manticore received training in all manner of mental and physical pursuits, but excelled in archery. When he turned 18, Miss Bowman revealed to him his true heritage. Manticore's father had once been a costumed vigilante in England, until he and his wife died at the hands of a German villain called Doppelganger. Deeply affected by the story, Manticore took up his father's mantle and vowed to bring the 5th Column down.

Due to the upcoming Power Sets Manticore is actually a Trick Arrow, Archery Defender. Also, his arch-enemy is called Protean, not Doppleganger.

So that's an archery primary AND an archery secondary.

Yep, it is.

I traded in my fun blog for several legal blogs. Or, "blawgs," as the cutesy attorney blawgosphere likes to call 'em.

For taskforces I want the Hero NPC to join our group as a ninth member.
Additionally, if you let the hero die you lose the TF, but thats ok because npc heroes are tough mofos.

I want to group with Manticore!

Well, Defender archery secondary does suggest a Blaster primary...

Probably yes but that is not certain. Blasters primary and defenders secondary is a bit more different than most power sets like that.

Defenders get I think three secondary categories that blasters do not. Dark Rad and Psi. Blasters get the elemental and devices.

Still I expect that it will be both a primary for blasters and a secondary for defenders. I am guessing they would want to get as much play from their new set as possible. One thing though is I believe they were also working on a sonic power set and it may be that defenders get one and blasters get the other.

Just wait till player vehicles goes in and archery!  Team Hazzard here I come, gimmie one blaze orange Dodge Charger and a Character with flannel shirt and bow for a weapon!  Course I'll need someone to be defender Daisy in her white jeep with those killer shorts!
