Every time I hear about shit like this I wish I'd gone to MIT.  Even if it meant I'd still be deep in debt right now.  They do such cool stuff over there.

My sister-in-law is an alumnus of MIT, got her BS in Physics there, iirc.  Also learned a lot about picking locks and getting other places you're not supposed to go, as a member of the roof & tunnel hackers.  She got a masters in something related to light or optics, and at one point was actually a rocket scientist.

My wife apparently got some interesting campus tours while visiting her sister there.
