If you're going to E3, post in this thread.

I will be there all week; I may or may not have Stacey with me as well.

I'm also wondering if anyone has plans to go see Episode III whilst there.

I'm trying to plan going. But, passes are a bitch to get a hold of this year. Really don't want to go with my works passes.

I'd love to go some year, but there is that whole not working in the industry thing. Real Estate software just isn't quite close enough.

This year I'll be in DC on a completely different convention anyways.

Not going, although I had planned to go.  I decided my family would want me home during my birthday, and since it falls during E3, yeah not going to E3.

My grandmother may not make it to next year's birthday, so I figured booth babes and industry people were less important.

God I love working for a movie theatre

...

Uh...

Really? I...er...I can't believe I just read that.  I mean...it's a MOVIE THEATRE, and you...erm...work there!

*scratches head*

Having worked in a movie theatre myself for 2 years, and based on the experiences of every one of my friends that have been as, uh, lucky, I never thought I would see those words linked together in earnest.

/agree

Didn't want to say anything myself but let me say working for a theater was fun except in the whole not making shit for money kind of way.

A nation consists of its laws. A nation does not consist of its situation at a given time. If an individual's morals are situational, then that individual is without morals. If a nation's laws are situational, that nation has no laws, and soon isn't a nation.

Going to E3 just kind of gives the impression that they stopped being creative in trying to choke people in artificial hype. But, booth babes are alive and well. Maybe and Subject to Utter Convenience. No on EpIII

What hot MMO-related action is expected/predicted at E3?  My picks:

Vanguard beta announcement (likely)
WoW expansion announced (maybe)
DDO demo (maybe)
EQ2 expansion announced (very likely)
New Blizzard MMO announced based on Starcraft (please no) or Diablo (yes please baby robot Jesus yes UMF)(unlikely)(please)
EQ1 expansion announced (maybe)
Shadowbane II (roflcopter)

Don't know enough about any of the other games/companies to even make an entirely uneducated guess.  Are Mythic or Funcom making new games or are they just trying to keep their old games updated?

I'd kill for this, but it won't come from Blizzard. It will come from Flagship studios if it ever does and will probably be post-apocalyptic like the fps diablo they're working on now - Hellgate: London.

I cry every year about this time because I really can't stretch the truth enough to be considered working in TEH INDUSTRY.

Though I did work in a movie theatre also.  I look back and think I loved it but I must have quit for some reason.  And I was the manager and making decent pay (for a college student) so it must not have been that.

BTW does that count as the industry? (please)

Witty banter not included.

I'm hoping for full-on Hello Kitty goodness.

For my daughter, of course.

I'm not ready to come out of the closet with my Hello Kitty love yet.  So I won't.
