Scuttlebutt is that she's sort of a raging passive aggressive bitch, though. Would always try to play off Joss Whedon against the other cast members and would just refuse to do things if she didn't want to. The musical episode? You'll notice there was no singing from Willow. Now granted, she may very well have a terrible voice, but Nick Brendan and Sarah Gellar both were bad too, but y'know, they sucked it up and acted like professionals.
Also, apparently she's started a lot of rumors about Charisma Carpenter and Sarah Michelle Gellar. One of my buddies back home's little sister worked in costuming for Buffy, and from what she says the general concensus from the crew was that Hannigan was a royal two-faced bitch.

Apparently they're both good people. Charisma, in particular, was originally only supposed to be a bit part, but they wound up making her part recurring, and finally a member of the Scoobies. Then she crosses over to the spin off? Doesn't exactly sound like a bitch that they want to get rid of. From what my friend's sister told me, the most that could be said of Gellar was that she didn't really mix it up with the cast that much. She preferred to do her scenes and take off. Pretty businesslike, but nothing divaish. |

I liked the dark Willow story line, I just thought it didn't go far enough. They handled in with kid gloves at times which for some of the meatier, nastier stories they weren't afraid to do (Buffy v. Evil Angel, Buffy's runaway issues, etc). It would have been better if she Angeled it up a little more. You know, actually flay someone we give a shit about. They could have brought in another Giles screw toy that she could have destroyed (torturing Giles was always entertaining). |

The Dark Willow stuff was boring IMHO. Although I did like when she flayed one of the nerds alive. That was pretty sweet. But to go from that to Xander talking her off the ledge with some bullshit shared memory was cheap.

Dark Willow was lame. Lesbian Vampire Willow was hot- that ALONE should have been a spinoff.
The show really succumbed to Monty Hall syndrome in the last two seasons. Now let's have them fight...a god!!! Now...THE SOURCE OF ALL EVIL IN THE MULTIVERSE!!1!
It would have meant far more and been so much cooler if they would have just vamped out Giles or Xander or Willow and had them be the villain. Strike that, it would have been the coolest if they had vamped out Buffy and had the rest fight her.
