Okay, I know you all have seen this shit. You go into your local corner store (not 7-11 or Plaid Pantry, just a regular Mr. Lee's Express or whatever). You're buying smokes and notice the incense for sale, usually behind the counter or next to it. And then, the most glorious thing you've ever witnessed: Black Love incense, featuring the best sculpted 'fro in history on a greased-up Mario Van Peebles lookalike. (How do I insert an image of this shit?) But it gets even better! There's also Black Magic, with Chaka Khan on crack on the box. But my favorite, favorite is Spring Rain. Sounds pretty benign, right? That's because you haven't seen the picture on the front of an innocent-enough-looking young white woman, eyes shut tight, getting sprayed in the face by what we are to assume is Spring Rain. Au contrare, mon frere! I like to think of it as Water Sports incense. I've never smelled it, and I hope not to ever.

Edit: I don't know if this qualifies as news, but dammit if it doesn't qualify as something.

I already did, but I don't know how to paste one in. It's not as nasty as it sounds, if you don't think Afro Sheen is nasty. Man, the chick in Van Peebles arms even has a wild orchid behind her ear. Classic.

This isn't the one. I'll buy some and scan the package. I couldn't google one either, so don't despair.
